tomur67 Posted Friday at 10:13 PM Posted Friday at 10:13 PM The rookies, I'm thinking and hoping that 2 or 3 of them are going to be very involved in the Bill's new defense. Quote

I think the additions of Landon Jackson, TJ Sanders, Deone Walker, and Joey Bosa, combined with the guys returning, could pay huge dividends for whichever group of LB's we have on the field. We also might finally have a DL that gets consistent pressure on QB's, especially when it matters most. It’s always nice to see our offense firing on all cylinders, but I’m not going to lie, it would be nice to see our defense take over a game or two and carry this team on their backs.. 1 Quote

This should put the Offence in far more optimal position to dominate games early and often, rather than second half comebacks. THAT gets you Vince. This is it. The bend-but-don't-break defenses are maddening. The D does a pretty good job of tightening up in the redzone, but my god it's nerve shattering. Get the opposing offenses off the field early and you start breaking down their offensive will. Quote

That said they have been a top 3 D and top 10 on 3rd down multiple times (when Leslie was here) and it hasn't got them over the hump. But 3rd down is the big test for me this year. They were an abomination on 3rd down in 2024. A repeat would see Babich worry for his job. Quote
Snowbowl Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Our receivers. Think they’re going to a lot better than most have predicted. Quote
