Max Hairston injury

I remember Beane had something to the effect of “yeah we decided to put Max on IR to give him that much more time…” it didn’t sound like an IR injury at the time he spoke, but maybe they needed the roster spot and genuinely didn’t want to rush him back. I think he’s been healed long ago, despite the knee brace.

You have to understand leverage and the roles of everyone around you.  Oh and you need talent.  My understanding is that the safety play is really poor leading to bad CB play.

Length of his being out is based on his injury.

 

If his injury is fully healed and he can go a full game? Start him.  Honestly can’t get worse than it is now.  If he hasn’t learned the defense by now, that’s a problem.  Let him learn on the job.
