My wife laughed out loud when i mentioned it stating no woman would abandon Josh allen for a mbj. And the scene itself was pretty tame- fully clothed, intimacy coordinator brought in, barriers utilized, no touchey feely and she had a body double on set (maybe she was used for scene where she was photographed from behind etc)…..i get it. Thats not the issue imo. To me it reveals that she possibly put a ***** in his armour that can be exploited on the field. Can you imagine in those close chippy games the things they will be throwing out about his girl. I just feel that Josh deserves someone who is 100 percent loyal in every way. if we could negotiate a sign and trade for jared goffs wife…she is smoking hot and seem 150 percent dedicated to jared…we could even throw a late round pick or 2 lol Or the maybe it will fan the fires of rage and he will play with same reckless abandon he used to. And that was fun to watch anyway.Time will tell. I think he is probably fine with it so I dont see a jealous rage coming from 17 LOL... but for me it would just be weird... Quote

Like, literally sounds robotic and unreal. Thank you Richard. Your disagreement with me on this topic has been noted. Quote

There is a difference between accepting and being “fine” with it. Many times proclaiming acceptance is only verbal. 17 gonna be fine either way in the long run. I just hope he is sure of his path with this girl before he makes her official. So many incredible girls out there who would be his own world and he would never have to deal with these distractions. 1 Quote

Well, look, I think acceptance is a good word here... like of course he isnt like woooo hooo let me see you do that rauncy scene with another guy... like unless he has a different out look on life thats probably not happening... its gonna be weird... but he likely accepts it because its just acting and thats what happens in acting... probably he is also proud of her, this is a big role for her in a big time movie that seems to me like a bit of a coming out for her.... he probably is proud of her for that... but either way I do not see it impacting his performance... This has never happened to me before. Usually I lose interest in football after the Bills are out, gain it back right before draft and free agency....then think about other things until late July. But it's early May and I have the same exciting feeling the Saturday eve before the opener...which means it will take forever in my head for the season to get here. I think they do it this year....I really do. Any of you feeling weird like me right now? And no, I'm not drunk. Am I high? Maybe. I think every year could/can be the year. Thats because we are a top team and it literally can be the year any year. Provided Josh stays healthy of course. Quote

A number of folks, myself included, have said to you that this is what actors do. I have pointed out to you that my daughter is an actor and that they are trained to be able to do scenes and leave it behind when the job is done. They have specific intimacy coordinators for such scenes; my daughter would tell you that such scenes have nothing romantic about them given the direction that goes into them not to mention being surrounded by cameramen and crew. They go out on travel junkets with fellow actors to promote their films. And yes they are friends with fellow actors with whom they have done such scenes, but at the end of the day they all have lives. Lives that include their wives, husbands, children and so on. But you just want to ignore all this. Let’s say instead of the role Hailee had in this film, she plays a role where she is a psychotic murderer. Would you be here worried that she would grab a carving knife and stab Josh in the throat one night? You have indicated your profession is psychology. If you had a patient who, despite getting input from numerous sources as to the lack of harm about some conduct, refuses to accept it and continues with ungrounded fears, would you as a professional be concerned? Josh and Hailee from all accounts appear quite happy and if rumors are correct will be getting married later this month. Why not celebrate the love this couple shares instead of being fearful of non-existing monsters lurking in the dark? Edited 5 hours ago by oldmanfan 2 Quote
KentuckyBillsFan Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I love the Bills more than anything but I will never have "that feeling" about this franchise until they actually do it Quote
Nelius Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago A “college professor” that doesn’t know what an actress does. Peak offseason. Quote

And i dont want to come across as an expert- as i said before there are no experts in this field and if they did exist, i would not be among them. It is apparent that my concern has rubbed many the wrong way, and for that I apologize. My original post addressed what my lingering concerns were. i could cite specific couples i have worked with that faced similar issues but my post would long and many details i cannot divulge because of privacy. So we are just going in circles. what i can assure you is that i am not a robot/bot etc, i am a real fan of the bills since i was a kid in the mid 80s. I rode the highs and lows evey qb from kelly, to jo losman, ej, fitzmagic, flutie etc. no we have the greatest qb in the league who is an amazing person as well. He carries the weight of this city on his shoulders. I just dont want feelings at home to be heavier than the emotions on the field. My fear isnt what she has done (very little) to what her willingness to do those things may mean in the future. once again, i apologize if my thoughts were out of line. 1 Quote
