Johnny Rottens band drew a lot of punkers, but didn’t do any Sex Pistols songs, which was disappointing. That was a fun phase of music, that techno stuff late ‘80’s. OMD, Erasure. As I’ve mentioned my crowning glory of that era was seeing Depeche Mode at the CNE. That was surreal. Edited Monday at 05:00 AM by US Egg 1 Quote
Gregg Posted Monday at 11:37 AM Posted Monday at 11:37 AM They should change the name to Music Hall of Fame. A lot of the inductees they have included over the years have nothing to do with Rock and Roll. 1 3 Quote

Didn’t know about them until I started dating my wife. She was/is a huge fan. Saw them in 2022 the night of the Monday night game against the Titans, where they blew them out. They were with the Pet Shop Boys. Awesome show. 1 1 Quote

Buffalo area never got wise to that ‘80’s music style. My one wife introduced me to it, it was huge in Toronto then. We were there a lot for shows. I rented an apartment in the heart of the West end of London last summer. Everyday there had that Pet Shop Boys song in my head. 1 Quote

Just Jack Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM Posted yesterday at 01:03 AM New Rock and Roll Hall of Famer ‘not invited back’ to NYS Fair Quote Chubby Checker “was not invited back” to the NYS Fair, the singer’s manager Shelly Field told NewsChannel 9 (WSYR-TV) and CNY Central on Monday. “While Chubby plays many fairs around the country, including a few in New York State, The Great New York State Fair was always special to him and he looked forward to returning,” Field told CNY Central. “Chubby loves New York State and loves performing at fairs.” Quote
