It reminded me of living through Anthony Young's record-setting 27 game losing streak. Found this article https://www.amazinavenue.com/2018/7/27/17598026/mets-anthony-young-losing-streak-snapped-history-new-york. Most of it mirrors my memory except the part that he had converted 12 consecutive save opportunities in the middle of the streak - I have no recollection of that whatsoever. Quote
Mike in Horseheads Posted June 7 Author Posted June 7 CINCINNATI -- All-Star right-hander Corbin Burnes of the Arizona Diamondbacks is set to undergo Tommy John elbow surgery, ending his season early in the first year of a six-year, $210 million contract. O's got lucky they were cheap and didn't re-sign him Quote

I haven’t gone to a game in 20 years, maybe it’s not as bad as I’m thinking. Quote

He's getting no help from his baseball buddies. I would laugh hard when this ballpark doesn't happen. Fisher is a stain on Jose Canseco's underwear. The A's are a complete joke. <--- Former A's season ticket holder during the Moneyball era. Long time fan. No longer. Quote
