Washington would not allow Redskins to move back to DC due to their name and $nyder but both are gone now.

Now, some county officials say they are open to discussing relocating its main event — a new stadium complex — to a portion of the Chantilly Crushed Stone/Loudoun Quarries property near the Fairfax County border currently planned for the Waterside mixed-use development.
• With an investor group reportedly poised to finalize a $6 billion deal to buy the team from longtime owner Dan Snyder, county officials are now publicly pursuing discussions with the franchise to bring a National Football League stadium to Loudoun. The team’s lease for its current stadium in Landover, Maryland, ends in 2027.
• “We look forward to welcoming the Washington Commanders to the Loudoun County Board Room to share their vision of a new stadium as part of a multi-use development in an urban setting,” Matt Rogers, chief of staff for Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Chair Phyllis Randall, wrote in a statement to the Times-Mirror April 15.
• “Loudoun and the Commanders have enjoyed a long business relationship that has proven financially beneficial to both parties. An expansion of their football operations in Loudoun County is an idea we’re eager to discuss, provided that Loudoun County taxpayers will not experience a single cent of tax increase to finance a stadium,” [Matt] Rogers said.
  • This is something the NFL would not Roger Goodell will encourage if some other jurisdiction will contribute.

is Wash on schedule for a new stadium?  I can't imagine the NFL allowing this stadium to exist much longer.  Was a dump back in 2007-2010 (can't remember what year) when I was there.  It was right after our QB slid on the mat somewhere.

I recall seeing interviews with OJ over the years in which he was recounting this.  You wanted to get into the locker room quickly or else you knew it would be a cold shower.

Agree, but not anymore pampered than the rest of the population.  It has nothing to do with football players, it's just like in general
