I'm suggesting that real estate values that collateralize a loan are based on qualified appraisals from a preapproved appraiser chosen by the bank, not from the borrower. Now if Trump claimed he had two children when he only had one, yeah he lied on his loan application.

This isn't like you or I going to the bank manager we"ve seen around town asking for a mortgage.  These are guys that make bets and expect payback.  trump's in trouble.

Let’s keep in mind that most banks won’t even loan to Donald Trump. That’s why there is so many questions about the bank that he actually did use. It’s a Russian funded bank.

Prosecutors have also brought conflict-of-interest questions about some of the arrangements before the courts, and witnesses and co-defendants may begin to face decisions about how closely they want to lash their legal strategies to Mr. Trump’s.

After prosecutors questioned potential conflicts among the lawyers, one key witness in the classified documents case, Yuscil Taveras, replaced his lawyer, who was being paid by Mr. Trump’s PAC and also represented one of the former president’s co-defendants in the case, Walt Nauta. Mr. Taveras is now represented by a federal public defender and is cooperating with prosecutors.

Mobster stuff...

This hurts him more than the threat of jail.  He's losing his veneer of wealth....

“Certain of the entities own physical assets, like 40 Wall Street and Trump Tower. Are those assets now going to be sold? Or managed under direction of the monitor?” Trump defense lawyer Christopher Kise asked the judge in court.

After privately discussing the matter with his law clerk, the judge declined to make a final decision “right now.” But the judge made clear an independent person will play a role in determining the fate of this multibillion-dollar network of companies, giving both investigators and the Trump family extra time to jointly find an outside official who can oversee this while they’re wrested from the family’s control.

"I shouldn't have asked Turley a question," Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert reportedlycomplained to an aide on Thursday. "He was a crappy witness."  she should have offered him a sexual favor.  might have helped.

Melania puts the screws to Donnie, looking to make sure that she still gets her cash, while his dances away.

She's sucking him dry, and not in the way she did before the marriage.

True love.

yeah, she's probably out of luck on this.  good thing she has skills to rely on....no honor among thieves

The good Christian Trump supporters.

https://www.newsweek.com/taylor-swift-travis-kelce-should-executed-christian-commentator-1830763

These are the folks that Trump supporters align themselves with, while praying for their cult leader to become their dictator.

If people from 10 years ago could look into today's politics, some would be shocked, but others would be celebrating because lots of folks who screwed up their own lives are finding the scapegoats they crave to explain away their own shortcomings.

They have thrown their lot in with the greatest con artist in American history. Some believe in him. They're morons. Other followers, like those in Congress, don't believe him, but fear they will go down unless they bow down to him. Some just like throwing up a middle finger to everything because they feel powerless.

It's a common thread throughout history.

i think some are aiming for a high post in the dictatorship.  but agree, they know he's a liar and rarely speaks any truth.  I could see Lenny and 29 angling for that.  "truth" social....more doublespeak.

Debbie Downer with another Debbie Downer post that adds nothing to a topic.  There must be an incel forum where you can bring some real value no?

You can never accuse him of ever saying anything in defense of Trump's criminal acts. In fact, you can never even accuse of bringing any facts at all.

If he was in a debate, the best he could muster would be, the sky is blue.
