Indy has a volleyball tournament or something with thousands of people already having book hotel rooms, etc. It wouldn’t be right (or even legal?) to pull the rug out from under something like that already on the books.

Big potential for more revenue = it will happen. Remember , the league takes over after reg season and runs the playoffs . Sounds like this may have been a consideration even before Hamlin incident.

I agree...whatever nets the NFL more money is exactly what they will do.

 

I think it will sort of diminish the regular season since the goal of “winning” the regular season was to host the Championship game in front of your fans.
