It’s amazing how many people love being authoritarian, justifying it at every turn…

People get a little bit of power, and they can’t stop themselves…they get drunk off of it…

People always wonder how the German people just went along with the Nazis…Well, this is how…

Accuse your enemy of being so evil, so repugnant and subhuman, that any and all action taken is justified, even if illegal and unconstitutional…

Tell people their safety is at risk, and that only the government can protect them…

Tell people that certain rights and civil liberties will have to be suspended in order to protect the people- but that they will soon be returned (even though the government has no intentions of doing so- ie Covid, we are still under a National state of emergency)…

Infiltrate and capture all media with intelligence propaganda to promote a single government narrative, that bans dissent, and socially/economically punishes those who dare to question the official government narrative…(Remember the Canadian news headline saying how it was dangerous that conspiracy theorists were always right? Shouldn’t it be dangerous that the media propaganda is always WRONG???) 🤔😉

Capture all educational institutions, and instead of teaching the young generation how to think critically and independently, indoctrinate them into unscientific, cultish behavior, demanding group think, and promoting self censorship…

Provide a telephone hotline where people can tell on those who aren’t obedient to the cult’s behavioral requirements…

I could go on, but you get the point…

Sound like Berlin 1938?

Nope, just modern day authoritarianism in the good ol’ U.S. of A. 👍

Enjoy, my friends…😉

"The FBI and other law enforcement organizations treated Twitter as a 'subsidiary,' flagging numerous accounts for purportedly harmful 'misinformation'..."

"... since January of 2020, according to the sixth installment of the 'Twitter Files' released Friday. Independent journalist Matt Taibbi described the FBI’s relationship with Twitter as having a 'master-canine quality' with 'constant and pervasive' contact between the bureau and the social media giant....

Friday’s Twitter Files also revealed that the company participated in monthly meetings with not only the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, but also with the Justice Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.... Instead of chasing child sex predators or terrorists,' Taibbi summed up in a tweet following the file drop, 'the FBI has agents — lots of them — analyzing and mass-flagging social media posts. Not as part of any criminal investigation, but as a permanent, end-in-itself surveillance operation. People should not be okay with this.'

The FBI told the Post on Friday that it... 'regularly engages with private sector entities... [which] independently make decisions about what, if any, action they take on their platforms and for their customers after the FBI has notified them'...."

ALSO: There's this other article in the NY Post: "Twitter’s top ranks riddled with ex-FBI employees"

("More than a dozen former feds flocked to the company in the months and years prior to Elon Musk’s purchase of the social network in October").

You cheered on Trump’s Muslim ban didn’t you?

I would be against any ban against a group based on religion, and his "Muslim" amazingly did not include the largest Muslim countries. It would be like complaining about ban on Bills fans because they stopped people from Rochester from coming.

Latest ‘Twitter Files’ show FBI repeatedly bullied executives over not reporting ‘state propaganda’ enough

New York Post, by Allie Griffin

The FBI repeatedly grilled Twitter execs about state propaganda on the social media platform in the summer of 2020 — insisting that the company provide more information about safety enforcement, according to the latest Twitter Files release. The agency’s Foreign Influence Task Force — which deals with cyber threats — interrogated Twitter on its reporting about official state media actors’ use of the site, according to emails unearthed by independent journalist Matt Taibbi in what he dubbed the “Twitter Files Supplemental” Sunday night. San Francisco FBI agent Elvis Chan pressured former Twitter Trust and Safety chief Yoel Roth in July 2020 for more information about how they prevented bad actors from using the platform,
