Neither are you

Now you want compromise? Lol.

GTFO, comprise. After six plus years of attacking anyone who disagreed with your opinion.

I take umbrage, Sir! I agree with people on this forum all the time.

But this little tiff has gone on long enough.  It's time for the adults in the room to come together and make a deal.

Welcome to day 1 of the GOP majority.  This is great theater.  Abysmal governing

It's democracy at its finest.  Not merely going in lockstep with someone who can raise the most money for you...

The GOP isn’t serious about governing anyway. They just want to put on a show.

So grab some popcorn and enjoy the mess.

it nihilism and petty, personal obstructionism.  It's setting personal ambition over the good of the country..  Good luck getting agreement from R's on anything important except investigating D's.  It shows weakness and division

As long as they can stop Joke's terrible policies, it's a win for the country.  Not much "governing" they can do with the Senate and Presidency controlled by Dems.

Again that's democracy.  The process will play itself out.

Im not really up to speed on beltway politics…What is the reasoning for not voting for McCarthy?

Too sane for the crazy caucus, too crazy for the moderates.

He’s a squish, just following the way the wind blows with no real backbone or principles. What does he actually stand for? He’s been anti-Trump, and pro-Trump, and condemning Trump, and then groveling to Trump.

You can negotiate with a guy like that to an extent, but you can’t really trust him not to throw you overboard the moment it’s politically convenient.
