I agree.  The leaders profit and tell their supporters we need to keep sending money there.

You speak for all Ukrainians?

I don’t either, but there is clear evidence that plenty of men in that country don’t want to fight in this war, yet they are being forced to.

All because America and our Western allies want to bleed Russia dry by using a country steeped in corruption to fight our war.

You’re upset because I posted video of a pornstar being used to take pictures with their wounded?  Do you get upset when anyone posts their trans spokesperson who had to be removed from their position for talking about “hunting down Russian propagandists” or the nonstop rolodex of Nazis?

Because.. of course you would… and of course that’s a country our degenerate countries leaders would “support” i.e. use as sacrificial bodies for a Western war.

Russia isn’t good either .. but at least I don’t pretend they are.

Pure stupidity.

If you think they're odd because you saw a porn star online imagine what they think of us?  Or ex president hooked up with one while his wife was pregnant then paid her to stfu.

I mean, what kind of corrupt country would elect that kind of scum?

I object to the idea that they're fighting a war for us.  That's absurd on every levels. Oh you found a video where someone didn't want to fight?  Oh that must mean "plenty" object to the war, gotcha.  You know how I know that's wrong?  Because they're beating back a superpower with very little manpower assistance.

First, you wouldn't recognize a slap down if it happened in your face or maybe even to your face.  Second,  you certainly won't recognize stupid if you don't see it looking in the mirror every morning.   You haven't posted an intelligent syllable in this forum much less a sentence or idea.

I can guarantee you know nothing about Russia and less about Ukraine.

They didn't give a ***** about Ukraine when Barry gave up Crimea (after his election...).  But since Trump wanted to investigate Joke for extorting them to fire a prosecutor looking into his idiot son's company, they love Ukraine now.  I really am starting to believe that if Trump said that breathing was great, they'd strangle themselves...

I'm pretty sure quite a few of us have indicated that's a black mark on his record.  Also many of us have said Ukraine is far from a perfect country.

I'll go farther, it's a corrupt shite hole.   But they are trying to break that cycle.   Westernization is not easy.

Not deflection.  Call it "whataboutism" if you wish.  The left lost any moral superiority on this issue when they put forth and elected Slick.  And then trotted him out to campaign for Hilly.

With you EVERYTHING has to be "whatabout", as if someone don't like one thing, they must love the other.  It's like a shield for the dumb things you do and believe in.  It's called polarization.  Just because I know Putin and Trump are bad doesn't mean I think Iran or Biden are good.  Some people are capable of independent thought outside the bubble.   The only thing that would even make me vote for Biden would be his opponent attempting to steal an election.  As soon as you read the word Trump, your medulla oblongata immediately responds with "Joke".  Try exploring other parts of your brain other than the alligator part.

Washington is a giant washing machine with a giant green dollar sign on the front of it.  At least this money(mostly older equipment) is being used to fight an enemy.  You almost have to expect to lose a few billion/trillion when discussing the military/Pentagon.  Lucky for us, Trump wants to pump endless money into the military industrial complex, while finding ways to cut waste in "entitlements" we paid into our whole lives.  He feeds his sheep what they're hungry for.

I know why you guys bristle at "whataboutism:" because it exposes your hypocrisy.  If you're going to call Trump Putin/lover, we'll call Joke an Iran/terrorist lover.

But your indignation is noted.  And filed appropriately.

"You guys"?  You're literally proving my point.  While some here may support Biden, Trump, Putin, and Iran, I support none of them.  Elections are the real Joke, and the only reason I'd vote for anyone is that they aren't trying to make my vote even more worthless than it already is.  I can only hope that people smarten up, and demand fair elections.

Not all republicans are GQP'ers, but the fact they call actual republicans rino's is proof they exist.  For the umpteenth time, because I don't like the far right doesn't mean I have to believe the far left is as equally as bad.  They're bad too, but it's not even close.

The far left are loonies, have taken over the Dem party and are far worse.  We're seeing the effects of it daily and it's why the majority of people say the country is on the wrong path.

I think most Americans want the same things, but they also know that neither candidate or party is going to deliver for them.  The democrats are starting to smarten up, but you seem to hold that against them.  Not Trump, Biden or Congress is even close to having favorability over unfavourability.  The division we see in our country and right here on these boards works in their favor, though.

Any examples of “democrats are starting to smarten up by moving more to center”?

Giving the border attention.  National Guard in the subways. Less talking about green incentives.  Most of it is recent attempting to sway independents.

So here in the last few days and weeks democrats are smartening up and moving to center with an election-driven border concern and with Kathy Hochul sending the guard into the NYC subway. This is your argument? Good heavens man.

The dismal poll numbers on issues the Dems have been pushing have forced them to move more toward Repub positions.  Hell even a 15-16 weeks abortion limit is being talked about by Repubs like Pence and Trump, whereas before it was "ban abortion outright."

Why didn’t you just start with “democrats are reacting to polls” instead of starting with “democrats are beginning to smarten up”? You seem desperate to give your preferred side credit when they’ve done nothing to earn it since Jan 2021.

Doing the right thing about crime and the border isn't smartening up?  How is saying they weren't doing the right thing desperate to give them credit?  My preferred side will always be doing the one that's doing what's best, whichever side that may be.  Now hopefully the MAGA nutters going on about in vitro being a child will look at the polls and smarten up.

They're realizing their far-left policies haven't been working.  That's not "smartening up," it's self-preservation.  So, again, they're moving more towards Repub positions.  But they still can't bring themselves to get there and that's why the polls look the way they do.

You can call it whatever you want. The far left AND far right policies aren't working, and Americans are paying the price.  It's almost like you're pretending I have a say in the game, and am somewhat responsible.  I don't and I'm not.

Sorry but no credit can be given. The border has been an all out disaster on Biden’s watch. That dems are now pretending they care about it is as transparent as it gets. You keep biting though.

Dems doing the right thing about crime based solely on Hochul and the NYC subway. As the spry for his age President would say “c’mon man”.

How many weeks passed between the cop-beating illegals being released without repercussion by the democrat-dominated NYC “justice” department and democrats doing the right thing about crime?

Few of us have any say in the game when it comes down to it, except for those in swing states.  I'm in a blue state so/and my vote for Trump won't matter ultimately.

It's also transparent that the republicans are loving how this makes Biden look, and are happy to keep it that way.  Hardly anything has been done about immigration in 40 years, but this is now all of a sudden ALL Bidens fault.  LOL.  Obama tried to address the issue.  As for crime, red states aren't much better if at all, but it's all blamed on 'democrat cities'(ala Fox news).  Your last part is just mixing the first 2, and pretending it's ALL democrats fault again.  You need to get off the red sideline, and start asking them what they're doing to make things better.  Crying, "it's the democrat's fault" clearly isn't working.

Your original claim that “democrats have started to smarten up” is ludicrous. You have equivocated on it so much tonight that you likely realize as much, but in an orange man fashion, can never admit as much.

Do you know who Frank Lutz is?  This is nothing new at all.  It's been going on for like 40+ years.  Not only do they find their voters by what issues they present, but also the best way to present the issue to get the voters.  Again, it seems you're blaming me for the reality of the situation.

Sorry but I am not and have not blamed you for the situation, outside of voting for people who are truly to blame.  And yes I know who Frank Lutz is.  Seems like a decent guy.  But to quote Marv "you start taking advice from the fans, you end up sitting with them."

I think you said you were in the same boat as me in that your vote is pretty much worthless, because you're not in a swing state, so AGAIN, don't blame me.  At first I HATED Lutz for what he was doing to politics.  I've since realized don't hate the player, but hate the game.
