I didn't say any of the things that you implied in your above post. The pro-Russian propaganda on this site is overwhelming. War is a terrible thing, as this war is a terrible thing. It was initiated by Putin and Russia and it continues to be aggressively pursued by Russia. The insinuation that Ukraine can somehow "pursue peace" or "end this war" and remain a country where its citizens are safe and not at the whim of a murderous dictator is nothing but a Russian talking point. Are you a Russian? If not, why would you EVER defend its aggression against Ukraine? I thank the lord every day that our country and its military isn't run by the absolute nancies that post on this thread about how Zelensky should "back down" and end the war in Ukraine. That country is fighting for its existence. If that ever happens here, do us all a favor and just go sit down. 1 hour ago, LDD said: Show me where I stated I was against a peace accord? If there was one to be had that actually secured peace and wasn't just some lie from Russia, I would be for it. But, only on Ukraine's terms. I am for peace and against capitulation to Russian aggression. The US walked away from any sort of leadership role here and lost all credibility. Putin knows that. Anything that Putin will accept now will include capitulation to Russia and its whims. That is what I am against. There is some fervor here for Ukraine just to "accept peace at any cost". That is a joke in itself. If they accept some "deal" with the Russians in a complete position of power the Russians will simply abuse it to their advantage. Ukraine and Zelensky know this. EVERYBODY knows this! Ukraine's only hope now is a strong European Union. The US is backing out of world leadership to enrich the select few that now control our country. We'll see what how that goes. Your first comment negates your second comment. The insinuation that Ukraine can somehow "pursue peace" or "end this war" and remain a country where its citizens are safe and not at the whim of a murderous dictator is nothing but a Russian talking point. Vs Show me where I stated I was against a peace accord? As I said you are nuts, you keep making straw man arguments since no one has said "accept peace at any cost" anywhere expect your crazy mind. Continuing to chew up the young men of their country is not a viable long term solution. Ukraine at the start of the war had less than 7 million men from 18-39 and they estimate over a million dead or injured, they will quickly run out of able bodied men if nothing changes.

Right, so I never said “I” was against peace and I’m not…thanks. Ukraine also has no power to “end” the war since they are simply DEFENDING themselves. You and the Russians want them to capitulate. Thus, your Russian talking points. Why don’t you care about the young Russians being fed to the meat grinder? I will continue to support Ukraine and their right to defend themselves and their country. I want nothing more than peace that lasts ON UKRAINE’s TERMS. You? You can continue to be on the wrong side of history with your Putin approved talking points. Btw…what is your f-in point? I don’t want try to weed it out of your discussion and risk creating another straw dawg… 1

I never stated they should capitulate, that is not necessary to have a peace accord. But there also will not be peace only on UKRAINE TERMS, because as you seem to agree Putin is not going to look week in this battle so it will have to have some give and take. As for the Russian young men, I also feel bad for them but their leader started it so less sympathy. As for "the wrong side of history", I am not sure how recognizing the math that the Ukraine is losing too many people is bad. I have stated repeatedly that Putin is worse but Zelynskyy is not an innocent bystander, he needs to figure out a way to end the conflict. If the war goes on for 8 more years the Ukraine will be crippled, Russia will have the whole territory back, and another 2 million will die.

You either support Ukraine or you support Russia in this matter. It is a clear time because bullets are flying and people are dying. Russia continues to attack Ukranian civilians at will and to disregard basics of the Geneva Conventions. Russia's leaders commit human rights violations daily at home and now they commit war crimes abroad, align themselves with the worst dictatorships in the world, and people like you want to defend them. It is astounding. The US has abdicated a leadership role in this matter because Putin knows just how to settle Donald, stroke his ego. If something good comes of this it is that since we have seemingly abandoned the Ukranian situation, they are picking up their own slack. We'll see how bad the crying gets when they start to act independently because they know we are incapable of serious foreign policy relations at this time. We can agree to disagree here.

I accept your first statement but we disagree on how to support them. As for Trump being a problem you act like the Russians have upped there attacks or something since Trump took over. The worst behavior was during Biden including the start of the war, pretending Trump started this problem or is making it worse is dumb. 1

But Trump said he'd fix the problem really fast and easily. He's been at it for four months and so far all we have is a trade deal with one of the most corrupt countries on the planet, so I'm told. And of course we have to get this done for humanitarian reasons you know? But at 5k dead per week, apparently there's no rush? And after pledging to stop the hopeless slaughter, our big threat is to walk away from the conflict...which is a benefit to Russia and does not stop the killing... So exactly the level of bungling, aimless, strategically bankrupt diplomacy we've been practicing since 9/11 so far. But hey, maybe time will prove me wrong. I know we're preparing for the great war against China and we're all hard headed realists. So obviously there's no benefit to China's greatest ally feeding itself into a wood chipper. What we actually have to do is try and bribe Russia out of China's orbit with a combination of Ukrainian land and American trade! And what could possibly go wrong funneling investment and land to a corrupt petro-state with terminal demographics and a hatred of the West? 1

This is a lot of words to say Trump has not fixed the whole world in 5 months. i want peace there, and the faster Trump fixes the mess that occurred under Biden the better the world will be.

I would agree some of the most disgusting acts were during Biden's term. Joe obviously failed at a lot of things but he did get them arms to protect themselves (I seem to remember some grumbling about that) and I'm supportive of Trump's decision to keep them flowing. I'm disappointed that Donald didn't form an even stronger coalition to pressure Russia but we all know he fancies Putin. It's a mess and without US global leadership at the front we will see who fills the void.

No sir, the grumbling was not about supplying arms to Ukraine, the grumbling was about billions of taxpayers dollars going there with absolutely zero oversight on where it was being used. That was the grumbling.
