The younger more liberal guy brought up the free speech suppression aspect of these but the Conservative commentators just laughed him off. The people of Taiwan are likely angry at Cena for recognizing their sovereign status then yanking it away after bowing to the ChiComms. Some liberals are mad at Cena because he apologized. Some conservatives are mad at Cena for apologizing. Cena looks like a deer in the headlights trying to explain himself out of a sticky wicket and make everyone happy—studio bosses, Taiwan, the ChiComms, liberals and conservatives. Meanwhile China teabags the world and unleashes a virus that kills millions and we’re focusing on the actions of a professional wrestler promoting a movie, known for operating in a business of selling a product and creating entertainment through subterfuge, misdirection and storylines involving hero’s and villains.
