He's been paid a boatload of $$ since he arrived here and TD gave him his latest big contract. I like the guy also but he's not worth the huge $$ after this season. With the rule changes favoring midget WRs these days, they think they can go with Evans/Parrish/Aiken or something. Moulds will NOT be worth his jack next year. No doubt about that. With his size limitations, I just can't see him being a #1, 2 or 3 guy on a regular basis. Maybe we can convert him to a defensive back, if Clements does leave....could picking two guys from "The U" be a way of warming McGahee up toward a long career in Buffalo? I am intrigued by the pick, but I must say, a little puzzled by it. But, it is TD, and I can't say that I have ever really been able to figure out what he is up to. I can only assume that he has a good idea that some quality O-line men will become free-agents after June 1st. Hey, come to think of it, Az Hakim could very well become a June 1st casualty with all the receivers that Detroit seems to be stock-piling... Branch, the Super Bowl MVP, is an undersized receiver at 5'9". NE has managed to use their speed to take advantage mismatches in the defense. No doubt Donahoe would like to do the same with Evans and Parrish. And, you're right, replacing Moulds with Parrish would be like replacing Andre Reed with Don Beebe. You could apply your argument to so many ex-Bills, that is just the way the game is played today: gear up for this season, but always keep an eye on next season! MARK VI is right. As soon as Moulds restructured his contract after the season, I had the feeling that this would be his last year in Bills colors. It happens on every team. It already happened with Bledsoe. It is kind of sad for fans (provided they like the player!), but I think, more and more, the players seem to realize when their days are numbered with a team. Don't feel too sorry for them, they and the owners are out to make as much money for themselves as they can. Even if they are "criminally underpaid" (think TO ) they are still making a damn good living. Many of us get treated far worse at our jobs, for far far less money..... Now having said that I do not like the idea of having two starting wide receivers under six feet tall.
