Uyghur women are being forcibly sterilized, and entire populations are having their heads shaved, being blind folded, and loaded onto trains and taken to forced labor camps. It's been a while since I've seen something so egregious, so clearly in the open, with so many people on social media upset about it...with literally no one in an elected capacity doing anything about it, let along speaking out on it. They are playing the ultra long game, and will not hesitate to genocide a few million (or kill a few million of their own citizens) to achieve their end goal of world dominance. The play here is to get as close as possible to your enemy. You just have to keep your own principles and wear them down over time. It almost worked with Hong Kong.
