Be better to a disingenuous liar who's hoping for a civil war?

I didn’t realize that Trump is hoping for a civil war.  But I agree that he is a disingenuous liar.  Thanks for pointing that out.

My beef is with the idea of PROTECTED CLASSES. It's horseshit, AND it's unconstitutional. Again, be consistent. Protect everyone's rights or protect no one's rights.

Then, again, your beef is with the Supreme Court and federal laws like The Civil Rights Act of 1866 and 1964

So then twitter has no right to deplatform anyone?

Help me out here, I'm trying to understand your reasoning. Not mine. Yours.

How is nominating a protected class unconstitutional?  I don’t follow.

This discrimination discussion is going exactly as I foresaw it, lol

(All Trump had to do was NOT lie and it would have all been avoided)

Kind of like Flynn pleading guilty. The problems they complain about most are problems they put themselves into.

If only Flynn didn't wear that fetching skirt and low-cut blouse, he would have avoided the unspoken act.

Ahhh, nothing gets right to the heart of complex issues like your shallow, superficial responses....

Remind me again what happens when the gun runs out of bullets?

You'll quote me like you did a month ago when the DOJ asked Sullivan to drop the case, DR will like the post, and you'll get a little endorphin boost.

Most politicians don't want to control news/media. That's false. We're talking about state-run news/media like dictatorships do. Trump envies that.

We will disagree about politicians wanting to control their "message", etc.

I think it is widely held that Trump uses Twitter as a platform to get around a media that he considers hostile to his "message", etc.  He's failed at changing the media's handling of him.  In fact, I tend to question who's the cart and who's the horse (does the media guide the message, or do they get fed by politicians).

In any event, it is just another example of how he's the worst wanna-be dictator, ever.  People (in a general sense) like to complain about Trump's dictator tendencies in one breath, and then mock his failures in another.  Please don't say that it is the #resist that stops Trump -- because if he were a true dictator, then he'd have crushed that # long ago.

We have checks and balances in place to keep this from happening, thankfully. In place from the very beginning.

Of course everyone wants to control their message. That doesn't mean they legitimately want to implement state-run news/media.

Trump is the first to threaten total shut down. That's the point. He actually wants that dictatorship. You can't lump all politicians into that category of person.
