Buffalo News just posted some tips on how to watch game without NFLN/Cable.

No paywall.

Some are "durrrr" but some helpful

The prices of those streaming services dont seem right. Sling is normally $25 a month, $15 for new customers. Fubu is more like $45 a month. They are right that there are free trials.

I am surprised they did not put it beyond the paywall so we could have a post how to get around Buffalo News paywall to read article to get around NFL's paywall.

YES - the game will be live in Australia on ESPN!!

The final destruction of the dark side will be witnessed globally.

Magnificent.

It's live on Sky Sports here in the UK at 9:30pm. What a perfect time.

Our annual poker night as well which starts at 5:30pm.

Poker, beer and a Bills win. Life. Love it.

It's mind boggling WHY the NFL would limit this games viewership  after they flexed it!!

I've never understood this. The TV networks don't make money if people aren't watching. Why wouldn't you do a simulcast on NBC or another network, where fans can see your product (and the commercials, which pays for all of this)

Out of curiosity... Is Sky Sports a "network" or "basic cable" channel in the UK, where pretty much everybody with cable service gets it? Or is it a special "subscription" only channel.

It'd be strange if any old Brit in the UK (where, let's face it, American Football isn't as popular) gets the game, but not here in the States.

like I said .....    mind boggling.

Google says

Sky Sports is a group of British subscription television sports channels operated by the satellite pay-TV company Sky, a division of Comcast.

Sky Sports is the dominant subscription television sports brand in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It has played a major role in the increased commercialisation of British sport since 1991, sometimes playing a large role in inducing organisational changes in the sports it broadcasts, most notably when it encouraged the Premier League to break away from the Football League in 1992.

I can answer this one:

Yes, it's a cable/satellite channel on Sky - it is part of the sports package

Same deal in Australia - Fox Sports and ESPN are included in the sports package of Foxtel cable/ satellite.

Both Sky and Foxtel are owned by Rupert Murdoch.

In summary - Brady and the cheats will be sacrificed on the Buffalo altar before a global audience of hundreds of millions!

Should be noted, this only works on mobile devices. Not firesticks, Roku or a desktop computer. Also dual casting wont work.

Our Aussie friend covered it.

We have the option of buying subscribing various Sky packages for a monthly fee - movies, sports, entertainment, kids etc.

There are currently 9 sports channel available to purchase.

Sky show live NFL on Sky Sports Action. They show TNF, SNF, MNF then also pick a game each from the 1pm (ET) and 4/4.25pm (ET).

They also show any games played at special times like Thanksgiving and this Saturday.

The Bills have been shown on Sky a fair few times the last week plus the first Patriots game earlier in the season was selected.

Games did used to be shown on free to air channels back in the 80s and 90s. That’s when I got into the sport and came to the Bills as my team.
