Still worried about the Bills' offense?

The Bills offense Dominated yesterday as much as the D.  I was really impressed against a solid Denver D.  The score should have been much more lopsided based on the stats and field position.  The penalties really screwed them up.  Gotta clean up that part.  But overall i think the O looks much better than a few weeks ago.

No. Giving up only 3 is dominating. Scoring 20 is not. Especially with the play of the defense. The Bills had plenty of opportunity to put up 40+ when your D plays like that.

I'm finally buying into the idea the Bills could be really good... next year.

Their offense has shown signs of improvement since they've abandoned their two tight end sets and gone with more 3 WR personnel. This isn't surprising at all, because Lee Smith was completely useless and anyone who can actually run and catch the ball has represented an upgrade.

Our running game has also improved since we made Devin Singletary the focus of our running game against Washington. Gore plays a role, but Singletary has been amazing over the last few weeks grinding out yardage with the occasional chunk play mixed in.

Allen has also played relatively well, John Brown has been outstanding, Beasley has done well in the slot, and Knox has added an extra dimension through the tight end position as he's taken playing time away from Smith and Sweeney.

Next year the Bills need to continue building out the OL, and they need to go all out to get an elite receiver to pair with Brown. If we had Brown, a 1st round rookie, Beasley, Knox and Singletary, this offense could legitimately be "set" for the next 3-4 years.

If Allen can continue to slowly growing into the position, and the defense stays elite, the Bills could legitimately be Super Bowl contenders over the next couple seasons.

It's more that the Cowboys are better then any of the teams that the Bills have beat this season. Are people here really confident that when they need to start playing the better teams in the league when they have to score more then 20 points, that the Bills will not have a problem doing it? They scored what the Broncos defence has averaged giving up all season.

Score was the average but they gained 100 more yards. They were in control and milked it.
