Shirley, you can see the difference between a 30-year-old deciding to date an older man and a 17-year-old deciding to date an older man.

Then just make theshold for everything 21.  They are all kids... Jesus my man, cut the apron strings somewhere... We continue to keep them children.  Yeah .. 17 a bit young... But, it's still mostly the cut off @ 17/18.   Can't keep them babied forever.

Oh... How 'bout the Washington Nationals! Pesky little Gnats!

My fake outrage is near the boiling point.

Was the Seinfeld situation weird? Yes. Beyond that? No, not to me.

So, Elvis in the 1950's was bad.

What's the year cutoff for our outrage? My grandmother was married when she was 16.  Should I seek absolution?

Not sure who's outraged.

I suppose, at the time, had the girl had decent parents, they would have been outraged.

Did your grandmother marry a man in his late 30s?  I doubt it.

My great grandparents were 16 and 17 when they got married.

You're being a twisty twisterston just for the sake of twisting.

I have little doubt that if one of your daughters, at 17, dated a 38-year-old man, that you and your much better half would have been outraged.

Unless they're the kind of parents who pimp out their kids for money and fame.

Not outraged?

How about disgusted?  Doesn’t disgust equate outrage?

Is borderline like almost pregnant?

Sorry, I’ll try to be more clear.

Do you equate outrage with disgust? I ask because you tell me that there is no outrage here but people have clearly shown their disgust. Are not those two things along the same plane?

Seinfeld has been called a borderline pedo. Does that equate with almost pregnant?

You ask too many questions.  Alexa, please place Cripple Creek on ignore.

There is a whole "Would ya?" subculture on this board... You saying they are losers? LoL...

I do and why I don't think I've ever participated in those threads.

If you can relate to a "child" you're probably a mental midget yourself.

17 is a bit young?  A BIT young??  What the ***** is wrong with you.

But then again have always been into older women. At 18 was dating a 26 year old.  My wife is 7  years older than me.

No actually, not even close.

Between Seinfeld's girlfriend and Kramer's ranting thing many years ago, I'm surprised the SJWs haven't demanded the cancellation of all Seinfeld re-runs.

Are the reruns popular with people who were too young to watch the show when it was on decades ago?

Kinda the way it should be.  Men die earlier.

Oh...

18 year olds go off to war. I guess that's old enough.
