Vantrease is the issue. He will continue to be an issue into MAC play. He just ain’t good. Not sure why he gets opportunity after opportunity. Personnel issues aside, UB looked like it has a discipline problem and if they don’t clean that up we can expect to see more self-sabotaging efforts like today. I'll try to give one positive, I thought the D-Line looked pretty stout. They held their own for as long as they could. The athletic QB killed em. But I do think 6 wins is achievable. We have 4 very bad teams on the schedule. FYI the Coastal game is on ESPN 2 Saturday at noon. The line has not been good. You do realize Toledo, Miami (OH), and N Illinois, are in the MAC, all teams that have performed well so far. I think UB is really going to struggle. I do know those are Mac schools lol you can't judge until MAC play starts UB has had the best line in the Mac for the last three four years... We have a pipeline that's deep We lost our best player on the line but we still have a lot of good ones.. You have to remember the Linguist staff has barely had a 100 days to prepare and Lance took most of our good linemen with him to Kansas. (Good luck to them. Enjoy going 1-11.) I'm not panicking over coaching yet. Lance had at least two big meltdowns (Kent State 4Q and MAC Championship 2nd half vs Ball State.) Linguist's strength is recruiting so give him a couple of seasons to build his team. But I would like to see Myers more. Riggins had an injury. They said he'll play this Saturday.
