They left notes on the door to schedule an appointment (which I ignored ? ). She finally caught up to me one day, and I wasn't quick enough to think of an excuse. I shoulda never answered the damned door. I wonder if she'd have given up after a third note? I have no idea how many times she actually tried to contact us before the notes started. It could have been a note left on each try, or after 10 tries... I never thought to ask. We never answered the home phone, and now we no longer have a landline, so this time (if there is a "this time") I will be more stealth!

Expand On the last census the only answer we gave was the number of people in the house, a woman from our church was a census worker that year and she kept calling trying to get answers to the rest of the questions, I flat out told her I would not answer, she finally gave up.
