You just gotta trust the process. Be patient. The next 7 season's are just for rebuilding, everyone knew that. Just give Bean and Mcdermott a dozen more seasons and we'll start seeing results.

We've already seen results, just not the ones any sane person would want to see.

All the hyperbole of how great Allen did today underscores how bad our quarterback play has been for the last couple of decades or so. If that was good I definitely don't want to see bad.

See week 1 with Nathan Peterman for "Bad".  If you don't see how we got better QB play this game then you are blind.  Rookie playing his first game down 3 touchdowns immediately.  He wasn't great or even good but he was trying to make plays at least and didn't really get rattled or anything.  He wasn't even supposed to play year 1..  Let's see what he does to improve going forward..

From Matthew Fairburn at The Athletic:

The day after: Josh Allen wouldn't stop fighting even after...

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — By the time Josh Allen threw his first NFL touchdown pass, the crowd at New Era Field resembled that of a preseason game.

The Buffalo Bills were losing to the Los Angeles Chargers 31-13 in the fourth quarter. Thousands of fans had already streamed to the exits, exhausted by the heat and the beating the Chargers were delivering. But Allen, who had already been sacked five times and thrown two interceptions, stood tall in the pocket and uncorked a line drive from the 9-yard line for a 3-yard touchdown. Kelvin Benjamin was on the receiving end.

Those left in the stadium mustered as much enthusiasm as they had all afternoon. Nobody was as excited as Joel and LaVonne Allen. Josh’s parents leapt up and down, Joel wearing his son’s jersey and LaVonne wearing a shirt with “Mafia Mama” printed on the back.

Tyrod did throw for over 265 or whatever it was with us. It was good for a two score loss. Not really seeing the point. 2 INT, both brutal.

I appreciate the optimism and Josh has exceeded my expectations, but this team is ****. They have not created a situation where he can flourish and it's sad.

The point is that it was nice finally seeing the a QB throw the ball down the feild.  It is sad that Allen has no weapons or help right now but we had to break down the roster to have the chance to get him.  Watkins, Darby, Glenn.......  I actually think that Beane has done a great job getting this roster to where he has it.  We have our QB and we are a few months away from being out of cap hell and actually an amazing Cap surplus.  This team will look a lot different I'm 2019 and hopefully a SB contender by 2020.
