You just used three negative adjectives without providing much rebuttal. It was encouraging to see wages rise slightly, but I think we all know that massive tax cuts, without exception, precipitate a collapse. It's not a matter of if. It's a matter of when.

Wealth redistribution (GASP!) and economic equally do not automatically connote victimhood. I think the left is asinine with SOME of the social issues. It's like they've concocted these little rules, put everyone in a box, and decided their roles in the play. The backlash against the PC police was pivotal in Trump's election.

Trump was unafraid to voice bigoted garbage the right has covertly believed for many years. I actually respect him for that the same way I respect leftists who are unafraid to speak on some basic core issues.

To summarize:  tax cuts are bad, Marxism is good, and conservatives are all secret racists.

What a refreshingly novel take.

Robbin Hood was a good guy.

I'm pretty sure you don't understand that story.

Robin and the SEven Holds is a great movie no doubt.

He's being sarcastic.  Par for the course for another useless poster who adds zero value.

My point about Robin Hood being misunderstood by leftists who look to him as a variety of folk hero, is that he wasn't robbing from the rich.  He was robbing from tax collectors and crooked government officials, and returning the money to those whom government was abusing.

Well...at that point in history, the rich WERE the government more or less.

Perhaps the above poster was being sarcastic, but I watch Robin and the Seven Hoods at least once a month. Great songs and actual men singing them.

One of my favorite parts is when gang leader Peter Falk is taking his boys over to his rivals casino to tear it up when they see Robo's gang going the other way to their casino to trash it.

"Where's Robo going"

"I don't know but he's going to be in for a surprise when they get back".

then the other gang

"Where's Peter Falk going"

"I don't know but he's going to be in for a surprise when they get back".

If you haven't seen it, you really should.

Craziest bit - it wasn't in Nottingham but York! (Per the York tour guide a few months ago). He was VERY angry that Nottingham "stole" Robin Hood from York.

My wasn't referring to you, I was referring to the person you were responding to.

I actually rather enjoy your posts, and find them to be both thoughtful and inquisitive.

Ooops,  Sorry.  Never mind   I'm glad you enjoy my posts. :)

You, quite specifically, don't get the opportunity to bother me much at all.  You'll note that I don't respond to you often anymore.

That's because I have you on ignore, along with less than a handful of other useless posters and trolls who bring down the quality of the community, like gatorman/Tiberius.

If we're being completely forthright, however, you used to get under my skin.

I take strong issue with bright people who are content to behave stupidly, and are intellectually lazy.  That's who you are here, and I have no patience or time for people who aspire to be less than the sum of their parts.

Do better.
