DrDawkinstein Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 (edited) On the Pats: a mere backup to the GOAT who plans to play another 3-5 years On the Bills: most likely an immediate starter under a Defensive HC with all the pressure of being a Franchise QB right away I'd say the Pats can like whoever they want. Way easier there. Two completely different roles to fill Edited April 12, 2018 by DrDawkinstein
billsfan5121 Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Just because the patriots like him, doesn’t make it right. Second, who even knows if they really like him? Third, we have such an inferiority complex with them. Who cares if they like him? If we don’t, why should we change our mind? Because they like him? That’s a great idea.
Eric Moulds on my A** Posted April 12, 2018 Posted April 12, 2018 Smokescreen... he's prolly the qb they're interesting in least

Expand Brady wants to throw to him as a wr since they traded cooks and Amendola walked. Or maybe they want a QB who can catch the ball on that trick play they used in the super bowl Edited April 12, 2018 by SouthNYfan

Expand Rumor was last year Brady pressured Kraft into having Belichick move Jimmy G because he viewed him as a threat. Was said to be in EXTREMELY good spirits at practice the day after that trade. If Brady is giving thumbs up it likely means he doesn't view Jackson as a real threat. He may even be thinking that the "Patriot Way" can talk Jackson into catching some passes.

Way easier there. Two completely different roles to fill Expand Steve Tasker recently made this exact point on the radio, in general terms. He suggested all of the big name QB draftees will have success, or not success, based not only what they do, but the team who takes them and the situation they find themselves in. It's a double edged sword. His point was that this makes it all the harder to accurately judge who is going to be successful. Lamar Jackson is dumber than dirt and I want nothing to do with him; he would be a total bust in Buffalo, if not everywhere. BB is way too intelligent to like either of those guys generally, and at the NFL level specifically.
