Based on the other article, their metric could be valid - but just not the direction they think it is. e.g. we were not the second 'best' - we were the second 'worst'. Keeping their lanes and keeping TT contained is the priority over just rushing the QB. There is a word for it in football lingo but it's slipping my mind right now. There are two QB who hold it longer. Russ Wilson and DeShaun Watson. I think that also had a lot to do with that awful zone blocking scheme. They were still more than effective on power runs. Watch our right side get blown up over and over again. Tyrod's escapability is the only thing stopping them from being one of the worst OLs in the league. It did take a few weeks to get the new blocking scheme down. Just saw a QB that was afraid to pull the trigger and he kept taking negative plays by getting sacked.
