Cousins is above average but in my opinion he isn't in the elite class. If they are going to overpay, it should be for an elite player. Cousins ain't that guy. What I would like to see won’t ever happen. A manageable salary with incentives on a 5 year contract. Renegotiate after the second full season. Is he elite? Not IMO. Is he better that TT he’ll yes.
