      Problems logging in?   11/05/2017

I know a few people are getting logged out too quickly. I don't have the answer to that yet.   However, one change that occurred is that there is no longer a log in name and a separate display name. The upgrade discarded the log in name and now uses the display name. So, to log in:   Username: <display name> Password: <your password>   If you need to contact me to find out what your display name is use: Contact Us  and we can get things sorted out.

Browns Fire Sashi, announce Hue Jackson will return in 2018 (Dorsey may have other plans)

That did not last long - I wonder if they looked at the analytics and moneyball told them it was time to fire the GM?

Bad move, bad look. The guy had one draft, am i correct?

I agree.   If you sign up for a long term process you have to see it through for 3-4 years before you make a move like this.  I dont see how Hue Jackson survives this year, and furthermore I dont see who is going to sign up for this s show moving forward.

Hue has been lobbying for more say in personnel, that’s why all the leaks that he wanted Wentz and wanted to trade for Garopollo and Mcccarron but Sashi screwed it up.

There is some buzz that Rick Spielman may leave the Vikes for a President type role with the Browns.

Oh yeah, he has that UT tie with the owner.  I mean you never know.   Hue better hope the next GM is willing to be patient.   I honestly thought they would see this through.   They have a stellar defense right now with tons of young talent on the offense.   But they made a huge mistake not building around a quarterback first and foremost.

They absolutely did.

And to think there are people that want the Bills to make that exact mistake.

Bills need to take note....I'm hoping Beane and company are smarter than that.....but 2018 will tell us a lot about the philosophy. However, Beane and his staff haven't even had ONE draft yet...so, despite my caveat about the QB situation, I hope they at least get 2 years to acquire talent...

I hope Hue stays because maybe there's a "chance" they don't take a QB...????? (crossing fingers)

No way that happens IMO.

Are you kidding? It's one job of 32. Factor in all of the picks they have on the books. The Browns could give a retread GM a real chance to put them self back on the map.

Andrew Luck called and said building around a QB doesn't always work.

it's like the whole anti-sabres-tank argument.

the tank worked. you got your main guy. it's what you did AFTERWARD that failed.

Yeah.....it's just wishful thinking...when all the other years the Browns pass on good to great QBs and the ONE year the Bills are actually primed to make a good decision on a QB, *that's* the year the Browns take one in the top 5....still hoping the drinking water is somehow contaminated with a "QB aversion" poison....

Ha! I recall Mike Schopp lauding the Browns as the model rebuild and how the Bills would be smart to follow their blueprint.

EXACTLY my point. The guy was on track, and didn't even get a SHOT at a QB.

Fail ownership there. Let's hope ours is smarter.
