Thanksgiving Meal: Whatcha Cooking?

What's on your Thanksgiving menu? Going traditional, alternative, fancy?

I'm debating it still.  Deciding between turkey roulade or "porchetta" for lack of a better word, but Mexican inspired with a mole sauce in lieu of gravy and some type of starch AND making a ton of wings and drinking a ton of beer.

200 lbs of fresh Hawaiian rock lobster we're going out for Saturday night. Should be an epic feast

Whatever the in-laws decide. Usually the traditional Turkey, taters, for, cranberry sauce and some casseroles.....love thanksgiving day. I remember waking up to that smell of a turkey in the oven when I was a kid and watching the Macys Thanksgiving day parade.

Traditional and plain! Half the people coming are on some cockamamie diet - can't even serve real potatoes (cauliflower potatoes are on the menu). Still, I am not giving in totally to their crazy dietary "needs". I am making pecan sweet potato casserole, and if they don't want to eat it, more leftovers for me!

Man you gotta try it...plus getting them's half the fun. Weather permitting we're trying to get enough for about 15 people, plus the usual Thanksgiving fare.

Right?

But yeah, it seems like a lot, but I host for about 20-30 people.
