beautiful.  I recently found this song and artist. so good. Pure talent.  Magic Power Rik Emmett Triumph

Fun fact. Canadian three piece band (ala Rush) and the bass player would wear the home town hockey jersey of the arena they were playing in.

JMO, they had a few great/iconic songs but a deeper dive into their albums was disappointing. Two more that I liked (and ya gotta love the two-necked guitar):

The Angelic to fire and brimstone transformation from Violent Vira I find as fascinating as it is tantalizing and alluring.

Like a split personality on steroids...

...dripping with raw emotion...

...and bloodlusts...

Release me in the fray...

I need more then this...

... Seriously ...

Share it!

Eye opening to see how huge these free summer concerts in Brazil are to the public. Madonna with over 1 million last year and Lady Gaga with something like 2 million last night.  I'll try and watch some of the Gaga performance this week.

So yeah will the Bills Super Bowl Celebration parade/party next year beat Lady Gaga's crowd?  I hope we get to find out :)

Anyone remember the band Phantogram from about 10 years ago?

The album version of this song did not have the electric guitar, but when they performed it live, they added the electric guitar, which made the song much better, IMO.

Holy crap, lmfao, outstanding!. How have I never heard this before?

EDIT: this would fit perfectly with the Repo Man soundtrack.

I really try to keep listening to new music. Here is a tune from 2025

nice. Greetings. I am always open to hearing good new music. What I find dauntiing is sifting the wheat from the chaff. There is so much music I could care less about.

This to me is fresh and my guess would be played on an indie rock channel. I'll have to Google this band. thanks for posting.

This for me is a  garage band tight vocals and interesting changes. Nice.

The song is intended to sound to its Italian audience as if it is sung in English spoken with an American accent; however, the lyrics are deliberately unintelligible gibberish.[9][10] Andrew Khan, writing in The Guardian, later described the sound as reminiscent of Bob Dylan's output from the 1980s.[10]Celentano's intention was not to create a humorous novelty song but to explore communication barriers. The intent was to demonstrate how English sounds to people who do not understand the language:"Ever since I started singing, I was very influenced by American music and everything Americans did. So at a certain point, because I like American slang—which, for a singer, is much easier to sing than Italian—I thought that I would write a song which would only have as its theme the inability to communicate. And to do this, I had to write a song where the lyrics didn't mean anything."[6]

This song, like a lot of 70's Italian pop songs, was very popular in the Soviet Union.

this is what I will call rock and roll brass tacks. This is as basic as it gets. a Black Gibson Les Paul and a fun song I remember so well from back in the day. watching the chord changes is cool. No I cannot play.

I love this song.  I wish we had call phones with video capability back in  the day. This song was played live with a kick ass sax solo and it was KILLER

Marty Mitchell Band circa 1981 or so Phoenix AZ  here is his wiki https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_Mitchell_(singer)
