Flynn: immunity probably means you committed a crime

Aw, you are cute. Liberalism and progressivism is becoming more popular, and conservatism outside of being a moderate is becoming less popular. A dying breed? Young people hope so.

That explains the governorships, state houses, congress and presidency controlled by republicans. I'm sure though, you being the self proclaimed highly educated person that you are, can explain that.

Unfortunately a progressive agenda depends on people who are at least somewhat informed and who reject fear as a motivating factor in their political choices. Although 3m fewer people chose fear and ignorance, based on the system designed in the 1700's their votes didn't matter. Except of course to Orange Julius, who cannot tolerate losing anything, especially the popular vote. Too bad. He's very good at losing.

I guess the White House is just a consolation prize.

Young people reaper, talk to many of them? They don't see the world like old school conservatives. They also don't vote as frequently as older people. Give it time. I called single payer happening in the next 10 to 20 years, which it will. And I am also calling conservatism becoming less and less mainstream over the next 10 to 20 years, which it will.

"If You Are Not a Liberal at 25, You Have No Heart. If You Are Not a Conservative at 35 You Have No Brain." This has always proven true.

Moderate conservatism and republicans are here to stay. Faith influenced old-school conservatism however is becoming less and less popular. I'm 29, so that means I have six years left to become jaded, close-minded, greedy, paranoid and scared.

You ought to read through this thread. There's some insightful material in there.

You have fallen into the trap that the media and lefties have propagated over the years for political reasons. One can be very conservative and not be overly religious. One can be religious and also be a liberal. Liberals here (and everywhere) tend to be the most partisan of all and have no room in their minds for ideas that differ from the party line. Conservatives are more generous with their money, while liberals are more generous with someone else's money. Anyway, you have six years, use it wisely.

Agreed and they absolutely can be. But let's not pretend like the heavily religious people who hate abortions and gay people aren't mostly far right conservatives. I also think most people who hate refugees, immigrants and Muslims are conservatives. I'm in the middle as an independent, which is the most reasonable stance to take imo. I vote for the best candidate, not just my party. Both sides have some good ideas.

I don't think conservatives are more generous with their money though. Liberal billionaires have donated way more money than conservative billionaires during my lifetime. I love how the right believes in hard work, providing for themselves and getting the leeches off of the system. I feel that way too. I'm informed enough to realize not every liberal mooches off the government though as well.

So, you're an Independent person, in the middle, but also a Socialist? Why do you limit generosity to billionaires?

You geniuses keep claiming I am this or that. I'm advocating for progressing as a nation. I don't care what we call it. I'm not a socialist, but think whatever you want, I could not care less.

Guess who said this:

"People act like we automatically have to become tyrannical communistic animals if we start moving towards a more socialist agenda. It's sad."

Oh, and who wants single payer?

Are you dense enough to think that by me saying those two statements I'm a socialist or think we need to be a socialist country? Single payer will happen and we will still be labeled a capitalistic nation. Come on reaper you can get me in better ways than that.

You've been arguing FOR Socialism, placing socialist countries basically on a pedestal. What's a fellow to think?
