it also doesn't require any thinking to never question whether or not the info your getting is even genuine and not more drivel shoved down your throat.  trump has a major ace up his sleeve, and that's his ability to blame the boogie man.  economy sucks?  the dems.  j6?  the dems.  epstein files...the dems.  government shut downs...the dems.  every single time.  i get it, but most won't even question it.    ***** even today we kept hearing about how j6 was all a scam.  the dems!

Apparently to you, this makes him different than every other guy that’s held the office in your lifetime. Good Lord.

regarding the bolded – any specific examples? The idea that someone that has different thoughts than you is getting drivel shoved down their throat is just pure genius. Really solid work.

The ironic thing is that I’m a registered Republican. I voted for George Bush 4 times, and Mitt Romney twice (write in for 2016 as I wouldn’t vote for Trump or Clinton).

Im still mystified and disappointed that the party of Bush and Reagan would back an obvious grifter and con man

I can understand that perspective, at least the preferring not to cast a vote for Trump.  I'll always recall where I was when Trump declared, rolling my eyes and thinking "What's happening here?" and to be candid, I found his pre-presidential persona to be much more WWE than grifter/conman.  We used to watch The Apprentice as a family and enjoyed it for what it was.

What's ironic to me is that all the warning signs were missed when W Bush was accused of fabricating intelligence, leading the US into a war that lefts millions dead and injured, and when his time in office ended, here's what we got:

image.png.1810362e9feef15665ebdf005c68ea34.png

Somehow, someway, all was forgiven by the party that replaced him.  The war criminal president suddenly became ole Grampa George, lovable artist and friend to Michelle and Barrack who didn't care so  much about that whole war criminal thing.

Meanwhile, I thought it interesting that the party of Reagan would look to trot out yet another Bush as a serious, yet ultimately lesser candidate, matched up against the Dems candidate....another, ultimately lesser, Clinton.

I think there is a lot of truth to the concern about grifts and con-people, but we probably disagree on where to look first to find it.

Trump?  Accountable?

This is the guy who petitioned the Supreme Court to rule that a president could do anything, literally anything, without fear of accountability.

And Supreme Court agreed with this nonsense.

I'm not saying that Trump worships Hitler; thats the Young Republicans.  I am saying that Trump is an autocrat and dictator wannabe.  Facilitated by Supreme Court and Congress.

...so...

this is is a guy who went through the legal process to execute power he wished to have instead of just a "pen and phone?" or casting relentless EO's or using a memo to force universal health care?

i don't know who you are but i know you're not very intelligent so i guess i won't bother with much more of your posts because the argument you just made proves you dont' know diddly.

that's not what i said.  at all.  you have no idea what my thoughts on politics at all, but since it seems like i'm calling out trump, you get sensitive.  we all just have to realize who were stuck with for a few years.  i'm part of the reason he's here too, but i also realize he refused to acknowledge he lost an election, he concerned what late night talk show hosts say about him, he hiding files that could possibly crumble a child pedo ring, etc.   i'm sorry, but any president that trolls anyone on twitter is just a child.

lol.  did you have to watch it? when i mean shoved down anyone's throat, i was referring to social media.  do you actually read what's posted sometimes on here?  it's absolute trash taken as reality strictly because it riles people up and supports their side.  it happens on both directions, but just have a read.  it's terror fuel for old white men.  it sells and you guys buy.

Everybody and their brother calls out Trump. You have plenty of company there. He makes it incredibly easy to do. What most don’t do is acknowledge that the reason we’ve had two separate Trump administrations is the performance of his predecessors and the candidates the Democrats ran against him. In other words, zero self reflection from those that whine the loudest. Add the people like you that say “why are people commenting on issues I don’t care about” and it’s incredibly tiresome.

Or it’s a form of entertainment that any educated person can make up their own mind about. One of the nice things about the Internet and social media is you can find any opinion you want and read both sides of any issue. There are actually people that do that. It’s easier to talk about scary old white men than believe that I guess.

You seem to take issue with people that think differently than you.

regarding did I have to watch it – I watched it because I wanted to be informed. You should give it a shot.

again...this is not what's happening at all. when have i ever said don't comment?  never.  my point it you're convinced that the trans population is truly an issue and that school are forming our kids into liberal blobs. it's getting shoved down your throat, (not mine because i have critical thinking skills) and in your head this is a major concern. i get such a kick out of seeing it.

hey...we all know trump won because of the people who he ran against.  the first election was interesting because he was something new (and hillary).  the second election he won because of harris.  so...you're just angry at the whining?  are you that soft?   trump unfortunately is, and it's rubbed off on so many of his followers.  i mean the guy can't handle a late night personality.  oh and the cheering after the show was taken off.  the excuses how it wasn't trump, but bad ratings, but when it wasn't the ratings, it then became a conspiracy by the dems to take light of the charlie kirk murder.   it's ok it the guy isn't perfect, but the constant mental gymnastics to undo the guy of any wrong doing is amazing.

The president of the United States was fine with putting it center stage. I’m sorry that it upsets you that other people comment on it.

Think back just a smidge. I’m not angry about anything. I commented earlier that it’s fun to mock the people that incessantly whine and complain about Trump. You even commented on that post. Take your angry comment and save it for the next older white guy that bugs you. I’m sure he’ll be along within a minute or two.

so simple.  why do you think the president put it on center stage? it's because it has the same effect that jingling keys in front of baby does.  it's to get you concerned about a minor issue, and to keep support among the simplest of voters.  i agree that men should never play in women's sports or use women's bathrooms, but that it.  it doesn't need to go any further, yet there's a tread of multiple posts with the most absurd points.  why?  because it make you feel like you're winning, and boy does that feel good.  so much of it is a larger distractions for far more important issue.

In your example above keeping support of the simplest of voters is obviously referring to his own supporters. Why would he need to cater to such a fringe group?

it's not a fringe group.  it's a large number of supporters.  and you really brought up the bud light kids as a distraction to voters?  the only people upset were the hardcore maga group.  was it stupid?  sure, but it was one beer can.  one, yet how many people were seen shooting up bud light cans and throwing them in the trash.  kid rock went nuts over it too, and was seen drinking a bud light a month later at a concert.  most people didn't about it at all.  just the same group that became upset when cracker barrel tried to rebrand themselves.  see how a certain side might be a bit more sensitive than they realize?

You might need to go back and reread what you wrote. You are all over the place now.

I’m not here to make petty insults.

I’ll leave that to you.

Well, I'm not sure what you're here for because you look like an idiot. If you're not here to make insults, at least try to make a point or sound intelligent. The bar is not that high, trust me.

I just asked if you could put some serious effort into your posts instead of limp twisting

You realize that Trump has used more Executive Orders during his first 6 months in office than any other president in history, right ?

And that he’s quite proud of this accomplishment.

Ummm are you a functional ######? Get your crayons and explain this... Because I can only fathom you're saying total in first six months as a possibility. In which case, is need proof.

Either way, back from like 30-50 there were nearly a thousand per president. I forget which but one of them has close to 4000 EO's

BTW Trump had 220 in his first term in total, so definitely not a high outlier. Also presidents usually do more executive orders early in term when they have good will.
