Shifting some funding isn’t that bad of an idea...

It's not. But too bad that's not the message they're choosing to spread. And if you suggest something reasonable, you get shouted down by the mob.

They can't help but be dishonest -- they being the power behind these movements. Because it's not about the "cause", it's about regaining power for themselves at the expense of the people they're claiming to care about helping. Why else would they be pushing Joe Biden as their candidate considering his lengthy, and disgusting record on this very subject?

People are seeing through it in droves. This has backfired bigly on the political left.

No not a bad idea and should be explored. The problem is that the term "defunding police" is an absurd way to describe that. On top of that you actually have morons trying to convince people we should have no police.

...cannot be better stated......I prefer "claim to care about manipulating" better......."we are your friend...we feel your pain......we're here to help....."

Who would have thought the Liberal mayor of Minneapolis would have more balls than Drew Brees does?

...LMAO....the kind, caring and thoughtful Mayor that handed out masks to rioters in the spirit of Covid-19 protectionism.......guaranteed landslide re-election....the "land of 10,000 fakes"..............

You people? What is that supposed to mean?

”Hey, the cops are poorly trained and poorly hired. I have a good idea, let’s give them less money to train and hire more qualified people with, and then pay them less! That seems like it will work, right?”

"Let's take away their guns as well."

Yeah, I can see people signing up for that in droves.

The NYPD should shift the budget reduction away from his personal security detail.

The NYPD's budget is $6 billon per year. Could they do their job with $5 billion per year? Probably.

Again, reasonable.

But that's not the rallying cry. And try explaining that position to the mob like the Boy Mayor did. What this shows is the dramatic split in the partisan left. There's no room for "reasonable" discussion and solutions when the anger is this high. Which makes it all the more insane that the media has enabled that anger without thinking it through. That split will be exacerbated as we approach November. Especially considering that they're running Biden -- they guy who authored the crime bill and spent forty years in office creating the very system their railing against.

...THE phrase that I absolutely loathe.......caustic, indignant, arrogant and as demeaning as one can get as if spoken from a position of superiority.....just effin' hate it.....

I'm sure they are going to use this police budget reduction to cut out pork, overlapping programs, and use a laser focus on what is good for policing the communities! <_<

?  hahahahahaa I crack myself up sometimes.

Why are cops slashing tires of parked cars, destroying private property, and even destroying their own cruisers in some cases?

Is the title of this video “Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes”?

You when mean acting on the 1st Amendment right to peaceably protest and assemble in accordance with any laws, curfews, and regulations regarding them still gets you beaten unnecessarily?

If that is considered a "Stupid Game" then I suppose so.  There are people out there breaking the law, but there are also protesters and press who are obliging everything they are being told to do and are still receiving heavy handed acts of violence.
