I have said... and will continue to saym he isnt anything special.. Yet. I am saying im tired of reading delusional posts. Im saying im tired man. Enough. His first campaign. He is not a top 5 qb yet. He is not the teams backbone yet. He is just 1 of the 11 on offense. He has done bare mininum to say he has solidified his starting job next year. We are drafting a qb. The proof is right in the numbers. Exactly. Either be good enough to not have to worry, or you have to deal with competition. I agree with his completely. He was NEVER the sole reason we were in games. We win when he plays well. There is no pecking order if you dont have favre brady manning 98-13 rodgers. You keep striving when this is your reality. No one should ever be safe on a team that cant win hahaha, the irony of your statement. He is never why we win, but we win he also has played well? In what world does that even make sense. You literally just stated he isn't why we win, but coincidentally when he plays well we also win...yet he some how has nothing to do with it? And another fun fact is that I didn't say McCoy carries this team. In fact, I didn't even mention McCoys name in the post you replied to. You could look at Houston, but there was a time where I thought the team was ready to flop again. Games they (with TT, since he is the subject matter) should have won, NYG, KC, and Philly. If not, we have to hope we drafted well. I expect Rex will make Whaley draft all of the players he likes for his type of defense. Making a decision on Taylor is one of the easier decisions this organization has on their large plate. If you have a horse in your corral that you can ride you shouldn't leave the gate open so someone else can ride it. Very often out of desperation teams go out and acquire qbs who are on their downside just to get a reasonable level of competency out of that position. With TT there is an upside. Securing him sooner is better than securing him later when the costs dramatically go up. Having him in the fold doesn't preclude the franchise from working on a backup plan, just in case.
