The Bandits had been going to it for a while, and some Cossacks started coming around. At first everything was fine. Then the Bandits asked the Cossacks to stop coming. The Cossacks responded by showing up in big numbers as a show of force, saying "We can do whatever we want". So in retaliation, the Bandits decided to make a show of force themselves. edit: I dont doubt that the "Texas" rocker panel, and a litany of other ridiculously minor "offenses" played into it as well.
