Do We Have Any Bernie Sanders Supporters Among Us?

Recommended Posts

He's not a Millennial, you probably know, but I feel your pain. I highly doubt he ends up voting, simply because these votes can't be texted. But I prescribe, and it's only in the most recalcitrant cases that I prescribe this medication, but, I prescribe more time in front of Fox News watching Megyn Kelly.

I think he is . Born in 1996: Researchers and commentators use birth years ranging from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.

I also noticed today that the reason I have trouble hearing him sometimes is that he speaks in that vocal fry sometimes. I never heard of that until Chef mentioned those words yesterday. I looked it up, listened to it on youtube, and then today realized that's what he does!

He's a great kid. Great worker, and is going to do really well in life.............I just don't want him picking our president. Haha

He's good with social media, talks about college loans, and talks a lot about a better future. He speaks to the sort of dreams that younger folks have, higher wages, clean energy, etc.

I want to qualify that by saying that he has tremendous experience as a politician, and has actually accomplished some things. In that way, he draws them in like a magnet, and with his accomplishments is a sort of role model.

You mean he makes "pie in the sky" promises to pander to people who can't balance their household budgets or save a dollar for themselves.

Sanders has a record and it's not a good one. Just another terrible politician who will continue the country's downward spiral.

I can tell you're not a fan of Bernie. You seem pretty hostile towards him. What's the main issue you dislike him for?

I'm thinking it's because the man makes pie-in-the-sky promises, panders to people who can't manage their own lives, has a poor record, and is a terrible politician.

I'm just guessing.

That just seems so flatly cynical, it doesn't see worth arguing. It's just a mishmash of baseless premises: he can't change anything for the better, anyone who believes him is a loser, his record is poor, etc.

It's all bark and no bite. I have to wonder if Alaskin Darin is familiar with Bernie's record and where he stands on the issues.

More familiar than you are, ya knob gobbler.

Another career politician who makes promises he can't keep and has a record he shouldn't be able to hide from but the terminally stupid keep lapping it up and acting like they're for "change."

YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM. Keep doing the same things over and over again while expecting a different result. If you bump your head enough, eventually you end up numb to the pain.

So, you think Bernie would be more of the same? This is why I suspect you're not familiar with him. It's apples and oranges, but to you it's all rotten garbage, it seems. Here"s one difference Bernie brings: he's not accepting SuperPAC money. To me, that's a significant difference, therefore, not doing the same thing over.

We should bail out Greece because...NAZIS!

STFU, knob gobbler.

So you take one stance (not taking money) versus me taking TWENTY FIVE YEARS of his record being a liberal socialist hypocrite? Yeah, you're credible.

I'm not your buddy and this is PPP. If you can't deal with someone pointing out the flaws of your "lahjik", this might not be the best place for you.

Feel free to sell your idol worship elsewhere.

You didn't, in my opinion, point out any flaws. You got belligerent. Muppets don"t scare me.

Of course not. You're too stupid/uninformed to be afraid of anything. Go Bernie...because...NAZIS!

It makes sense to me, how an economically destabilized Greece could create the right conditions for the Golden Dawn Party to assume power. So, like you suggest, if you're anti Nazi, vote Bernie. If you're pro Nazi, just don't vote for him. No need to be mean about it.

A vote for Hillary is a vote for Auschwitz!

You are an idiot.

I use to, but not anymore. I have come to the conclusion that rewarding illegal behavior with citizenship is a bridge too far for me walk. I know of many friends of mine who have tried to go through the onerous process of trying to get a visa and ultimately a legal status to get and stay here. And all too often they are unable to obtain this legal status. Rewarding people who came here illegally not just with legal status, but taking it to the next level, citizenship is wholly unfair.

Since they are already here, we can't break up the families and rip them from their communities and ship them home as much as Trump's supporters would love to see. But that doesn't mean we give them the rights to become citizens, legal status of residency is more than fair.

You've alluded to this before and I have failed to mention that I respect you for the change in mind. I hope that the arguments here were at least a part of that change. Regardless, I have softened my position regarding our existing illegals and that is mostly due to the arguments here, which you were a part of. You are probably a Rubio guy and I am probably more a Cruz guy but I don't think either one of us would be too upset with either one of them. I just wish they had the executive experience of Jeb.
