See the above scenario.
Estro
Was just about to post the same thing. We are not in. In fact according to my calculations there's no way the Bills can come out of week 16 as the #6 seed.
dayman
Just played around with it. It is pretty depressing. We really aren't making the playoffs.
ny33
Just played around with it. It is pretty depressing. We really aren't making the playoffs. The key game is Houston-Baltimore (we want Houston to win), and that's highly unlikely to go our way. If Houston pulls off the upset, and SF beats SD, we are in decent shape. If not, well, good luck to us. Edited December 15, 2014 by ny33

In this scenario, the above teams all win (as does Buffalo) but we are not in the sixth playoff spot.

Nick the Greek
win out, worry later Well said. Gotta love all the gloom and doom scenarios on here. Getting to 10 wins is all that matters, and that's all the Bills should be focused on. If they do actually get to 10 wins, I have a feeling were in. Win and in. No BS ESPN calculator. That is what the calculator tells you, whether that feeling is good or not. It isn't. We can make it, and need to win to do so--but odds are even with 10 wins we are out. This gives us only a 27% chance if we win out. It's not BS. There are several teams with similar records who have the tiebreaker over us.
