The Phoenix Lights -- New Evidence of Military Involvement

On March 13th, 1997 thousands of people in Phoenix, including the Governor and countless law enforcement personnel, trained aviators and astronomers witnessed one or more massive triangle aircraft moving silently and slowly over the metropolis. It was the biggest UAP event in terms of witnesses in the 20th century, and one the USAF quickly determined was nothing more than military flares and people's overactive imaginations.

The citizens of Phoenix were in such an uproar over the event and the seemingly flimsy cover story being concocted that the Governor Fife Symington held a press conference where his chief of staff, dressed as a Martian, came out in handcuffs. The Governor would later regret this press conference -- he later revealed he witnessed the event too but was compelled into making light of the situation during the press conference by those who wanted to calm public fears.

There's been countless videos of the event and as many attempts to disprove the incident. But this week new "evidence" has come to light that will undoubtedly be debated for another couple decades.

Alleged footage from USAF FLIR cameras operating that night has been leaked by a freelance reporter from KWBV6 News in Phoenix. The short footage shows the USAF wasn't lying about their crafts operating in the skies that night -- it also shows that they were certainly not alone and most certainly were not dropping flairs but instead were engaged with unknown aircraft.

If verified (which I'd wager will be impossible), it could be the most important piece of disclosure to come out in the past three decades. It shows military craft engaging with aircraft that seem to be unwelcome visitors with unknown intentions. It's only 15 seconds which begs the question -- where's the rest? How did this reporter get it? Or, if it's faked, why do it now nearly 20 years later? What's the motive?

There's also a cheesy (but kinda cool) documentary about it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS1fusC7MtI

That video does raise a compelling question: when does the cat come out and pounce on the laser pointer?

Morons having an apocalyptic freak-out out over lights in the sky. If that ain't compelling evidence, I don't know what is.

That film has time stamps, which are extremely hard to fake.....

.....name that movie.

And it wasn't flares, it was Flairs. Here he is just before he cloned himself and went skyward.

Probably tied together. People do this all the time to watch peoples reaction.

I never heard of them until this summer. I made a video very much like the one above - on my phone, because I was like WTF - is that a UFO??

Then, at the Tom Petty concert I saw some and asked my friends what is that - and they told me what they are.

Turns out Karl Farbman furniture is behind this.

I have no idea what this means but maybe Greggy can dig deeper. I asked the Googlebot and that is all he had time to tell me. He is working on a female Googlebot prototype. It looks like crap but he is into it so whatever.

They're Chinese lanterns.

There used to be a group of pilots in the Hudson Valley that would get together every so often and fly their planes at night, slow and in close formation. Slow enough that you could barely hear the engine noise, so all you'd see is these lights moving together. I saw them once. I happened to have read about these guys before that, and knew what it was. People around me were freaking out. It was hilarious.

I always wanted to launch a weather balloon with a container of burning magnesium flakes under it, just to !@#$ with people.

What year(s) was that? Could explain some of my own sightings.
