Not surprising that hooligans took advantage of situation when many travelers had to lock up their valuables in the vehicles since they are limited to what they can bring inside.

What of value do you need to take to a game that you can't take inside? Left over sausage?

Everyone needs to be smart, and the thieves need to be caught and punished. Wallet, keys, phone. Maybe sunglasses. It's all I'd consider taking with me. Am I missing something?

Traffic is getting rough. After the game someone was hitting my truck as I drove by. I couldn't even see where they were or that they were doing it. Than someone climbs on my runners and tries to talk **** to my friend. I saw people cutting people off and trying to cut thru grass and other stuff. The worst was that pedestrians were cutting the vehicles off and cops didn't do crap. When I was walking around before the game I stopped and chatted with a cop who said we could not cross because of the traffic. Meanwhile there was none and he was just leaning against a barricade. Literally, no vehicles were on Abbott. And he wouldn't let us cross. When I asked about shutting the road down, which he was beginning to do I asked if he wanted help taking the barricades out because he was by himself. He just started talking **** about the Bills treating cops poorly and the whole game day thing being ridiculous drain on the town and all of that. I wish I got his name. He was the officer at the Northern barricade of Abbott, musctashe and in his later 40s I'd bet.

I wish my sis in law could travel with me and just arrest all the idiots that are drawn to me.

Stop blaming the victims. You can never "ask to be robbed."

I would venture to guess, statistically, whenever you throw tens of thousands of cars and 70,000 people into a relatively small space, some petty crime is likely to occur.

I was thinking the same thing - and four of them were dumb, drunk teenagers. Be smart out there tailgaters (and walkers across streeters)!

I forgot about the hit and run. Hardly "petty" crime. But still. More people, more problems.

I'm NOT blaming the victims. I've been robbed and I learned my lesson. The criminals are always going to be there and that sucks. They need to be punished. We have to be smart and protect ourselves. Be wise, not indignant, it's not fair but it's the world we live in. Do yourself a favor and act appropriately. Believe me, I was pissed!

Yes you are. You're saying the victims could have prevented someone else from committing a crime. That's blaming the victims.

Toni M. Ventrilla, 26, of Lewiston, was charged with drunken driving and aggravated DWI, after taking a Breathalyzer test that determined she had a blood-alcohol content of 0.24, three times the legal limit for DWI.

That is some serious drinking!! WTF!!

OK, this nonsense needs serious attention. Immediately.

I will say that Scott who worked for the Bills in their Accessibility / security gruip was great. On the walk he stopped us from wandering somewhere we weren't supposed to be but was cool about it. Chatted with us a while, about the BFR's - big !@#$ing rocks, all around the stadium. I later learned from Hammer/Eric there are over 600 of them! Evidently the rocks keep vehicles away from the stadium because the NFL had been complaining to the Bills.

That's nonsense and you are putting words into my mouth that I object to! I'm saying protect yourself! My son was shot in a carjacking outside the Falcons game a week ago yesterday. He has five brand new holes in him. He should not have been shot, but he freely admits he was a few blocks from where he knows it is safe. We should have an expectation of safety, and we should be grown up enough to know the real world isn't that simple. Tomorrow we go to the specialist to find out about the nerve damage in his left hand. He can't feel his fingers. I am not sticking up for the criminals and you have no idea how wrong you are! Stop thinking you know more than you do! I'm on the side of the victims - don't become one!

Jeez, sorry to hear about your son. That's awful. You got prayers coming from me.

I wasn't being serious earlier.
