If you look at 2013, they did not play a bad game at home. vs. NE - loss 21-23, on last second FG. vs. CAR 24-23 win vs. BALT 23-20 win vs. CINC 24-27 (OT) Thad Lewis debut. vs. KC 13-23 Tuel debut. The Bills dominated most of that game. vs. JETS 37-14 - total domination vs. FINS 19-0 - tremendous defensive performance. The Bills went 4-3 at home last year without any experience whatsoever at the QB position. They did not play a single team with a losing record on their home schedule. They lost three very close games, starting three different QBs, all to playoff teams Marrone had them ready. This team could certainly go 7-1 at home. In fact I expect that. DanInUticaTampa Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 I see some 10-6 or better predictions and I wonder, given the Bills recent history, how many Bills fans betting with their head and not their heart, would make a bet of 10 wins or more this season. well, if you use your head you wouldn't bet at all because this is a team we have no idea how they will perform. though chance doesn't really favor them. but they could very easily have a winning season just as much as a losing season. I think that raider game is going to be a tough one. They got some solid vets, traveling to california takes its toll, and with our luck, we will have 3-5 significant injuries by then. So I am thinking that one is a loss. But my heart really really wants to win that browns game, just because of whitner. I want all our wide receivers to burn him and I want that scoreboard to scream a bills win. I honestly want it more than a NE win at this point. I am also thinking at worst this team goes 7-9. but I am pretty confident for a 9-7 season, but nothing higher than that unless EJ turns a corner. Webster Guy Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 We'll beat the Raiders, the Vikes.. -Probably split with the Dolphins, and win one more game we shouldn't. That's four wins that I can see. Some teams, like the Packers, Bears, and Broncs will simply blow us out of the stadium. -NO CHANCE. On the bright side, the Marrones will be gone, and a new era of football led by Golisano or Pegula will begin. -Hopefully that means good things. Maybe Denver and Green Bay, but don't put the Bears in that category. They can score points but they sure can give em up too. (100 in two games last year) We sweep Miami, split w Jets, NE beats us twice. 3-3. We need to go 6 for 10 outside our division to get the 9-7 record needed to squeak out a wildcard spot. After preseason wk3- alright, perfect time to predict. #amiright That's some legit comedy there, I'll admit it's usually a short powerful exhale when I laugh while reading alone. I really did a rare lol at that! game 3, for us its game 4 this year, is when teams play starters the most. Into the third q. Did u not know that? Its kind of hard to judge a team after 1 or 2 drives, which is what happens for the early preseason games. So yeah, I don't know why u loled, but happy that u did. While pettines D has some strengths, they were bad on the road last year, poor against the run, and we have a lot of knowledge and film of what he does. Inexperienced QB and coach, lack of WR. Hitner. That is a game we should win at home really regardless of any injuries we sustain through the season. That doesn't mean it will be easy, of course. I think I want to win that game worse than any game outside the division. It just feels like we lose the game I want us to win the most every year. I hope we win and we should for all the points you made, Yolo. I just made 1st impression "gut" picks. My earliest predictions are usually my best, had to get them on "the record". After a big dose of cool-aid before regular season week one, i look at it again and I'm usually further off than this time of year. It's the NFL though and our injuries and the other teams injuries change everything as the weeks roll by so all I can say is I hope we stay healthy! In these predictions, we generally forget that the Bills can play with anyone at home, and struggle to beat even Jacksonville away from home. A blow out win here. Like super easy. Alex Smith is reminded why he lost to good ol kap. 11/13 @ Miami Dolphins-loss. we dont play good over there. 11/23 NEW YORK JETS-Win- sweep those suckers. simms boy probably starts this one since vick will be injured AGAIN. 11/30 CLEVELAND BROWNS-win. Pettine is humbled by our offense. 12/07 @ Denver Broncos-LOSS-Manning we actually barely lose here. 12/14 GREEN BAY PACKERS-LOSS-Rogers we lose badly here. cant stop anybody. 12/21 @ Oakland Raiders-WIN-raiders 12/28 @ New England Patriots-LOSS- Brady gets too many calls going his way and he cheats somehow like his dad bellycheat.
