Only deaths I can point to was a few years ago when our sheriff had to shoot a guy who was ramping a police cruiser with his truck. It's also a VERY poor county, yet there are no gun crimes. Why? We don't have drug dealing gang bangers. Our local sheriff would drag them behind his truck if there were. So guess what? They stay way clear of my county. Department of Homeland Security employees lost around 300 firearms alone.
