One area of weakness today is that the run blocking has been average to poor. In spite of that Hackett/Marrone insist on running the ball in a healthy ratio. I LOVE that. It's probably the same level, it's usually just crushed early into the first preseason game and carries out through the season. Optimistic is something I always am with this team but I can honestly say they are playing a different kind of football this year and I'm loving it. CJ got a couple runs with open space, but the other plays that were called seemed to be of the power running variety, which we just don't have the line for.
