I don't think it has much to do with not being PC. I think it has everything to do with being the opposite of "fresh." Leno is so far from being able to comment on real life that I would be surprised if he knows what half the jokes being written for him are about. He gets to play with some unique cars, and you can tell it's something he's passionate about. Though, he really needs to change out of the all denim outfit some day hah. eball Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 I'm sorry, but this just isn't really funny. In fact, Jay Leno is very unfunny. It's hard to believe he still has a show. Leno is about as funny as a wall. Bring in Jimmy Fallon ASAP, I can't even watch Leno. I don't particularly care for Leno's interviewing style on the Tonight Show, but in his day he was one of the best stand-up comedians around. Probably still is when he works at it, and his monologues give you a glimpse. Unfortunately, getting into the talk show thing has dulled that memory. Leno is a talented guy and I have a lot of respect for him not kowtowing to the party line of refusing to direct any biting comedy at the current POTUS. What kind of wall? A STADIUM wall of course!! Tu-Toned Posted July 17, 2013 Share Posted July 17, 2013 I don't usually watch much late night TV, and Maybe his jokes are a bit stale, but his delivery and funny looks make up some for that.
