In order to believe we are in a downfall (which I do) you have to believe that we were at a higher point in order to come down from it. Problem is most think we are progressing. If that's all it was the attempted murder charge probably gets dropped before trial. We had a guy in Richmond who punched a cop 3-4 times (cop was admittedly harassing him at the time) & the CA brought an attempted murder charge. It was dropped before trial & he was convicted of malicious wounding. There's either more to this or just an overzealous prosecutor looking for headlines.
