The Six Degrees of Ryan Fitzpatrick

Recommended Posts

Using the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" theory (i.e. you can name any actor/actress and in six steps (six movies) come back to Kevin Bacon), I believe the same holds true for Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Here goes:

Peyton Hillis

Peyton Hillis was drafted by the Broncos in 2008 and played with QB Jay Cutler

Jay Cutler went on to play with the Bears in 2012 and played with Brandon Marshall

Brandon Marshall was traded to the Bears from Miami where he played with Richie Incognito

Richie Incognito played for the Bills in 2009 and was acquired by the Dolphins in 2010

Ryan Fitzpatrick played with Richie Incognito in 2009 for the Bills

So you see gentlemen...everything comes back to Ryan Fitzpatrick

Go ahead...throw out a name. I dare ya.

Any time frame requirements for the name?

LOL.

Considering the way players move around in today's NFL, i'm sure the same holds true for 99% of the players in the league.

Have to be within the last 15 years

Maybeeeeeeee, maybe not. But the idea of all players sourcing back to Fitz just sounds comical.

Shane Falco - go!

LOL

Sammy Baugh.

Ouch, this could take awhile

Shane Falco - go!

Shane Falco, played by Keanu Reeves in The Replacements.

Replacements also starred Gene Hackman, as coach McGinty.

Hackman played Lex Luthor in Superman 2, which Marlon Brando was cast as Supermans dad.

Brando went to Shattuck St Mary's academy, as did Buffalo Sabre Drew Stafford.

I do not want Drew Stafford to play QB for the Bills, nor did I want Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Does that count?

ill take it. I think the correct first move was funneling it through shane falco playing college ball at (the) ohio state though.

Golden Tate went to college at Notre Dame

Bills 1st pick in 1994 was Jeff Burris who went to Notre Dame

Jeff Burris played for the Bengals (and the Bills)

Ryan fitzpatrick played for both the Bengals and Bills.

it's only 4 degrees... but I tried.

oh and Golden Tate was born in Tennessee where Ryan Fitzpatrick now is a QB.

intially GT was drafted for baseball by the Arizona Diamondbacks, but he chose football.... Arizona is where RFP calls home.

I actually connected Falco's actor connecting via Dean Cain who played for the Bills but whatever works.
