Even a blind squirrel is right twice a day.

PTR

Isn't it "even a broken clock is right once a day?"

Regardless, Michael Vick as a football player is a guy who's never conclusively proven that he can play quarterback at a consistently high level. He's had a very up and down career and he appears to be in decline.

He's a guy who featured athleticism early in his career and now he's become slower and more injury-prone.

No thanks.

I know what we have in fitz. A guy that won't win many games for us and is easy to gameplan against. I know what we'd have in Vick. A guy with a big arm, can run and is extremely injury prone. If I had to choose, I'd choose Vick because I haven't seem him suck in a buffalo uniform and his upside is much greater. Hopefully we'd have drafted a QB in the 1st or 2nd rd and when Vick gets hurts, he can get some reps. Fitz would stay healthy and keep the rookie on the bench all year, keeping him from getting game time reps.....while finishing 5-11 through 8-8 and not making the playoffs. Vick over fitz. That's not saying much.

Direct Snap: Top five spots where Michael Vick could play in 2013

1. Buffalo Bills – Though the team publicly denied being interested in Vick in 2009, a source close to the quarterback insists the Bills were a suitor. Additionally, current Bills starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is a nice player, but hardly a franchise guy. The Bills are built to win as soon as possible. Adding Vick to a team that has a solid offensive line would be an immediate boost. Also, coach Chan Gailey has experience working with mobile quarterbacks from his days in Pittsburgh with Kordell Stewart. Vick is far more talented than Stewart ever was, so Gailey could easily make this work.

Getting sick of media guys always claiming Gailey is well suited to coach Vick because of Chan's work with Kordell "Slash"...that was 15 years ago and I haven't seen commensurate improvement in Chan's win/loss record in college or pros. What a dumb thing to say...because he had some success with Slash he would have success with Vick...it's a nonsequitor with a banged up veteran felon. Just say no to Vick.

he's coming to Buffalo......as our backup qb

i do think he's done in philly, i don't think he get a starters job anywhere else, he needs the money bad, he will wind up accepting a backup role in hopes of becoming a starter.....enter buffalo....

Luck took essentially the same number of hits as Vick and had only 7 fewer sacks, yet he doesn't suck.

Vick is done. Why would anyone want an injury prone/frail, aging QB who is less accurate than Fitz and who clearly has never learned the position of pocket/NFL QB? The guy is a bad decision machine.

I won't pay to see the felon play. OK, he did his time and was contrite. But, I choose who to associate with in my life, and people like him are not on my play list. But, I am small potatoes in this discussion, I only have four season tickets. Wouldn't matter to Mr Brandon I am sure.
