BillnutinHouston
Chan just said in his presser, no coaching changes on D.
Dan
My game plan: I would take Wanny's playbook and write on the top, "do the exact opposite." exactly! :-)
BuffaloFan68
If I was Nix, I force Chan's hand in Firing Wanny. If he doesn't like it then he can go too.

bananathumb
He has a mess of a talented bunch. Makes George Edwards look like Bill Parcells.
DefenseWinzChampionshipz
I agree with the firing of Wannstedt 100%... But I'm surprised no one has started a bench Mario thread... That dude needs to sit down a couple of games...
Billsfan4ever14580
who do you replace him with? Any mid-season firing comes simply with an internal promotion. Who on the staff replaces him? Bob Sanders comes to mind.....even though his LBs are always out of position. Why not? How worse could it be?
thewildrabbit
I say keep wannstooge, that way Nix can fire both Gailey and his gawd awful DC.at the end of the year. Jeez, first George Edwards and now someone worse, hard to believe. Can gailey pick them or what...
Dorkington
Fire Wanny, bench Fitz for Pigpen or Jackson.

Green Lightning
It's time. Fire now and put somebody in over the bye. Inexcusable is exactly the right word.
tbonehawaii
The amazing thing is blitzing is being rejected as being too risky. Versus 35, 45, 52 point efforts.

tbonehawaii
although these guys can't tackle. Of course teaching is a big part of what coaches are supposed to be doing.
bills44
would you consider coaching changes on defense? chan: NO! in that case, fire Chan as well. The short guy?
BuffaloBillsForever
Even though 43 is not Mangini's base defense he still can improve the Bills defensive scheme. 43 or 34 type philosphy is overrated. Hire Mangini. For example most people think Wade Phillips is a 34 specialist...he really isn't. He plays 34, 43 and 52. boyst
There is no one to replace Wannstadt. Firing him now would be a mistake. We need to, bottom line, evaluate talent and keep players positive.
BuckeyeBill
I've always hated the stache! Now he is hurting the team I love by making a good defense implode! Firing him is obvious!
Concrete Buffalo Feet
And to think before the season I thought we'd have a top 5-10 defense...?
