There's still one more debate, right? The local talking head that reads the news from a telepromter said that this "is the debate that will decide the election".

The only way that is true...is if Aloof Professor Obama shows up again, and gets curb-stomped again.

Much depends on how the media, and his handlers, dress and accessorizes Obama both before and after the debate.

If OWS Organizer Obama is what people see, then he loses. If it's Cool Cat Grad Student Obama, who we like because he's is 10x better at teaching, and ain't afraid to hit the bar after class, then he can win.

Yes, it is like Barbie, because, yes, Obama is an empty vessel, and yes, people like that, because they put whatever they want on him, and it makes them happy.

DEBATE PROGNOSTICATION: Looking into the ol’ crystal ball, I see the following in tonight’s presidential debate:

1. Candy Crowley hones in on abortion (Roe v. Wade, specifically) and contraception and tries to paint Romney as a threat to lady parts and a “flip flopper”

2. Crowley throws Obama a softball on Benghazi and gives him plenty of room to blame the 9/11 events on Hillary and intel

3. Crowley hits Romney on Romneycare and (again) tries to paint Romney as a flipper

4. Crowley asks both candidates about gay marriage, asking Romney something along the lines of “Governor, do you support the right of two adults of the same gender to obtain equal treatment in marriage?” (or some other sickeningly one-sided phraseology)

5. Crowley pushes Romney to explain his tax reform plan, but doesn’t ask Obama to explain his

6. Crowley interrupts Mitt on several occasions, asks him pointed followup questions, but uses a soft touch with the President, and never interrupts him once.

UPDATE: Yes, it’s a town hall format, but these questions will come up and Crowley will set the tone.

4th question - Obama's first debate performance was widely panned. Can he recover tonight?

No - he's done 33%

Yes - he had an one off night 67%

5th question - When did Obama graduate from Harvard Law school?

1991 57%

1993 34%

1995 9%

(yes, these are actual questions they are asking people taking this poll)

Not a bad answer to for Obama...and now we see what he is going to be doing all night:

broadening the debate, and bringing up tangents...to try and avoid getting backed into the corner and pummeled.

If it's boxing...he's going to keep moving his feet, and not try to win a slugfest.

both blew their first responses

Romney, by not addressing the question more directly...

Obama by not thanking everyone first before going into his answers

Responses....

Romney finally getting his details in, and responding to PBO....

Oh ABHMA.... why bring up GM and bankruptcy again?

Bankruptcy does not put a company out of business....

Crowley cut Romney off... Hope she remains in control, regardless of the speaker
