Heard it before but still, its good news and feels good to hear him reitterate his position on Fred.

This is good news, although really not new. Buddy said the same thing at the beginning of the off season. It is nice that they do legitimaely seem to understand the value that Freddy brings to the team on the field, in the locker room and in the community.

Couple this with Freddie's statements on WGR that he has no plans of holding out, no matter what happens, and I'd say this is all one big non-story.

Just reported on ESPN as well, that Jackson was in negotiations with the Bills.

Between Jackson, Routt, SJ13, and all of our own FAs, and the FAs coming from other teams... it's a busy time for Nix and Whaley at OBD!!

If he keeps this up he will still be able to get his nap in when FA starts. :D

He can start right behind Fred, one good month doesn't overtake Fred.

Is this fresh news or just a rehash of Buddy's presser from a few weeks ago? Fred said nothing was happening contract-wise when on WGR recently.

Not to mention that the combine is only 10 days away.

Its a mistake resigning Jackson he is 31 coming off an Injury plus you have a good young back who showed he is more than capable of starting, Buddy needs to learn from the Fitzpatrick signing that you don't sign a player just because you personally like them they have to be able to play

Yeah, you should really only re-sign guys if they're one of the league's top rushers and account for 40% of your offensive output. And we all know that Freddy doesn't fit THAT bill.

1. It's not a career-ending injury so calm down.

2. Jackson is 31 with the legs of a 25/27 yr old.

3. FJ has been tearing it up the last 2 seasons..I think he can play.
