Dragonborn10
All the athletic ability in the world...If he could just learn to make a play on the ball he could still pan out. He has the feet, speed, and the hips to play well. Arrrgghhhhh...just learn to look for the ball at the tight time. Hope he is brought back next year. NewEra
Well said. He is such a tease. Amazing athlete with no field awareness in coverage. I hope we bring in a new dc and Db coach that can bring out the best in his abilities. Superior talent. Inferior ball instincts.

34-78-83
He showed he was improving on the ball tracking when he got his chance in the Titan's game. Too much talent to move on from him. The Bills need to keep all their talent.
jumbalaya
COACHING Exactly. He has the ability. He has the will. Doesn't have a coach. We gave up on Maybin, Whitner, Leonard, Lynch and way too many others. Let's not make the same mistake. Put the coach's job on the line to get him to be productive, not the players'

Put the coach's job on the line to get him to be productive, not the players' Â What about Whitner? What has he done in SF that he didn't do in Buf? Â What about Maybin/Leonard? They both got plugged into already dominant defenses. Â And for that matter, what about Lynch? Has he really been THAT much better in SEA? Really? Â There are plenty of reasons to harp on the Bills, but this repetitive litany that's become shorthand around here has no basis in reality. John from Riverside
I am of the opinion that the coaches should tell him to stop worrying about trying to intercept it......JUST KNOCK IT DOWN Â He is always in good position to make a play.....but he somehow just cant track the damn thing in the air. Rather then trying to pick it (which nearly always results in the WR catching the ball) just blow up the play...... Â Problem solved

reddogblitz
I don't think Leodis is as bad as everyone on here makes him out to be. But then again I also feel that way about TBD Perennial whipping boy Kelsay and Fitz. Â He plays very hard. He'd be a lot better in coverage with some pass rush. bowery4
I hate to say it but he still makes me nervous catching punts (I understand that, that might be unfair, BTW I think he set some sort of record today didn't he?). He should have gotten the turn around for the ball thing by now when he is in coverage. I think it is him more than the coaching, the other CBs do pretty well in most aspects like that. Everyone would do better with more pressure. Sometimes lighting a fire under a guys butt works, let's see next year.

Everyone would do better with more pressure. Sometimes lighting a fire under a guys butt works, let's see next year. No one has ever questioned his effort. He has played great on special teams coverage units after he was demoted. I am not saying he will blossom to an all pro but there is no reason to give up on him yet. And just like letting Evans go made a deep WR corp suddenly thin, cutting McKelvin just creates another need when there are so many others in the front 7 and WR/TE positions. PO'14
Keep Leodis as the main returner. He is dynamic and has the ability. And that Rogers kid aint bad either. Â Letting go of the right people is what the BIlls have to do....And the 4million dollar man in Smith should be cut next week ASAP!

Amen, brother, the NFL is literally littered with ex Bills secondary guys who are pefrorming at a high levels, we need to keep em and coach em up! simpleman
I have been saying this again and again. He has the talent and the will to be a pro bowler. He just needs a specialized coach to polish his talents. As people have said, Coaching, Coaching and more Coaching. Some people just need a little more tutoring and direction than others to become all they can be.
