  1. Pittsburgh, Pa, left Buffalo (Lakeview) for Florida in 1970, and then relocated to Pa in 1975. I was only 10 when we left, but remember watching the Bills with family during their glory days. Then we got O.J. around the same time and I was hooked for life.Say what you want about the man, but nobody outside of maybe Barry Sanders was more exciting to watch run. From the cops or otherwise. Funny how the Dolphins were good the whole time in Fla, and then the Stillers the whole time I have been here, I need to move back to Buffalo!!!
  2. What about the LB that ended Favre's streak? Can't seem to even remeber his name, but I thought that he would do more for us last year, and if Meriman can't come back, he could have been a source of pressure from off the line, any chance he breaks out? Or at least contributes more?
  3. I am pretty sure that their is football in heaven, you better start scalping.
  4. I haven't read all of these posts yet, just sampled a few, but I can't think of anybody not thinking that this is strange, especially seeing it for themselves live, it is the first thing that came to my mind, "man is that wierd or what". It is definitley staged and can't be sincere. The other thing that I noticed about Roger, is that he looks extremly uncomfortable in the spotlight, and when he gets to the podium, it looks like he might start stuttering or something, not to diss anybody who does, but he just does not come across to me as a confident individual, and sure of himself.
  5. When they take the field in those god awful unis, it is going to look like a prison break!
  6. My only flame, is, geez, it seems like a long time since SF has had to come to Buffalo????
  7. I always hate to see a Leaf Fall. Sorry, best I could do on short notice. I may blossom later.
  8. So, give him an extension and then trade him, I like the idea. Why do we really care that we will not be compensated fairly for Freddy, we have our feature back for years to come, and we can make Spiller the WR that we desperatley need. Chan was gonna have difficulty getting them enough touches at RB anyway. Pull the trigger, getrdone.
  9. One kniver our two...three...four? Was there anybody else in the School Book Depository?
  10. I realize that we are talking about the defensive line, but you do realize that we are going to have three Williams starting on our defense, maybe we can come up with something based on that like Williams Warriors or something.
  11. He works so hard that he is being drafted twice, maybe more.
  12. We have to believe this, after all it is coming from the most un-interesting man on the planet.
  13. I lived in South Florida in the 70's and was at the Orange Bowl many times for Bills/Dolhins games, and well as other Dolphins games as well. Well they don't use that, at least the Dolpins anymore, and I do not have any other comparison as that is the only one besides the Ralph that I have been too. But that stadium, atmosphere, and layout reminded me very much of the Ralph. People parking in front lawns and the stadium in sort of like a residential area.
  14. Would that be practically undetectable pulse?
  15. Anything to avoid an Obama speech. Oh, but isn't he the best speaker on the planet.
  16. I still have a Bills 1988/89 Fredonia Training Camp Pennant on my wall, it has, I think, all of the attendees autographs, or at least most of them. I loved Fredonia. Man, you could just walk right up to guys during the breaks, before or after, they were all very approachable. Got a chance to visit with Paul McGuire while he waited for someone to fix his flat tire, great guy, very personable. I had a video camera, and back then they looked like ones that the news stations lug around. Some of the players, most notably Haslett, were looking at me pretty nastily like. I think that they thought I was a reporter or something. I was right up close to Bruce, and he was looking at me like he wanted to wrap that camera around my head, very scary. We now he can do bad things, man.
  17. I boldly predict that he will not win another NFL Championship. The NFL will not let it happen. When he settled with the gal in Vegas, he sealed his fate.
  18. I knew the photo was BS, and I fell for it anyway. I really hope the Blue Pants thing is true.
  19. My whole fam damily is too, and it is very tough, I always tell them, that when we get one, just one dam it, then I might be a little more passionate about the Stellars, but I just can't now, so I fake enthusiasm. Although i do respect and envy them.
  20. Agreed, I think that the NFL got somewhat of a black eye for all of the bad calls in the playoffs, and Goodell didn't want another one. I am not saying that he told them to swallow the whistle, but I bet he advised them to back off a little. The more flags they throw, the more they leave themselves open to criticism. I thought that there were a number of non calls, especially pass interfernce on the Pats, but it was generally going both ways. Those shouldn't be calls in the first place, and it was refreshing to just watch them play. I thought for sure they were going to call a late hit on Brady, on the play that the Giants got the saftey, the fact that the didn't, and then flagged him for intentional grounding, I knew that this game was going to be called a bit different.
